With the change in season fast approaching, we’re on the lookout for the best fall fashion, and we can always count on Heidi Klum to deliver. The supermodel donned a designer garment that she fashioned into an mini sweater dress for a trip to Pasadena on Sept. 6.

The black-and-yellow long-sleeved number featured a colorful floral pattern with touches of pink, blue, white and green throughout. Klum opted for no pants and wore a pair of flat over-the-knee motorcycle boots. She accessorized with a green-and-black bag and a pair of oversized sunglasses as she was spotted out and about in Los Angeles County.

While her look is giving us all of the oversized cozy fall sweater vibes, Klum revealed in her Instagram story that the garment was actually a Wolfgang Joop dress that she cut herself to shorten the hemline. “It was a little bit longer, and I cut it, sorry Wolfgang,” she stated in her video snippet with a cackle.

As per usual, Klum’s long blonde locks were styled in a sleek and straight blowout with a bit of texture. Her fiery red manicure could be glimpsed peeking out from her sleeves.

Whether or not you choose to go the custom route and grab a pair of shears to shorten your own hemlines for fall, one thing is certain: you can never go wrong in the autumnal fashion department with an oversized sweater dress of any length, knee-high boots and the right accessories.
