Anok Yai Elevates Popular Fall Shade With Staple Jacket Everyone Should Have in Their Closet

Oh, Anok Yai. You are the standard: in modeling, in beauty and, most importantly, in fashion.

The South Sudanese American model took to her Instagram account this week to fill the world in on which aesthetic she’s closing out the year with. At a glance, it appears Yai is leaning fully into the edgy leather vibe, as she sported a cropped leather jacket in one of fall’s most popular shades that every fashion lover should have in their closet. The cocoa-brown staple piece paired with her dark wash skinny bottoms created a combination so fire that fashionistas would be remiss not to replicate this look at least once before the end of fall.

Accessorizing with a pair of hoop earrings and a sickening belt, there’s no denying that Yai was a sight to behold in these sizzling snapshots. It’s giving ‘90s supermodel who knows that the party doesn’t start until she walks in—however, this isn’t the only aesthetic Yai knows how to embody.

Yai’s best looks of the season

Another look the 27-year-old model sported during the fall season was an all-black ensemble. Her outfit was a marvelous blend of lace, mesh and ruffles, proving that she knows how to expertly mix and match different materials to make a monochrome stand out even more.

Who knew that satin bloomers, thick tights, a black bandeau and a thinly-veiled top could make a showstopping look for Yai’s very first Formula 1 racing event?

Her versatility truly must be studied. On top of ‘90s galore and monochrome majesty, Yai also donned a lavish, out-of-this-world chrome outfit while attending the Swarovski Masters of Light Opening Celebration in October.

The upper half of this lavish look had her dripping with diamonds from her earrings down to her chain necklaces. Each row of her lovely, layered, jeweled piece was as fascinating and flashy as the previous, bringing a whole new meaning to “looking like a million bucks.” As if she wasn’t already a glammed-out goddess, Yai also put on a sparkly bandeau and matching asymmetrical skirt to die for.
