As seen in her latest Instagram post, Carthen is officially a Hyundai girlie. She recently starred in a campaign for the brand, promoting the Palisade model and all the places it will take her. And wherever the vehicle plans to bring her first must be a fashion-forward location, as she looked incredible in a comfy-cozy, all-black ensemble featuring a couple of closet staple pieces that are must-haves for autumn.

Carthen’s outfit for the ad consisted of a cropped knit cardigan and a full-length bodysuit—two simple yet chic items that make for one timeless, fall-friendly look. The superstar is a prime example of how even the most easygoing of ensembles can still deliver a fashion-forward moment, especially during the chillier months.

With yet another brand campaign in the bag, the Love Island USA personality took to her Instagram stories to express gratitude toward all the talented individuals who helped make this “full-circle moment“ come to life, writing, “Y’all know I don’t play about my ad quality 🤏🏾 Love my production team 🥹❤️”

A full-circle moment

As noted by Carthen, this partnership is a true full-circle moment, as she revealed at the start of the ad that her first-ever car was a Hyundai Sonata, saying, “That old Hyundai, it saw everything. First job, first real heartbreak, first time I felt like I was doing life on my own. I didn’t realize how many firsts lived in that car until I let it go. Same brand, new chapter.”

And her past with the car brand goes a little further than that. In a separate Instagram story, she posted a screenshot from an older TikTok video she made. In the comment section was none other than Hyundai’s official brand account, which had commented, “great choice” at the time. Little did Carthen know that later, she’d be collaborating with the brand, “Love a full circle moment haha 🤣❤️ #IYKYK”

It’s exciting to see how much Carthen’s life has transformed in such a short time. Going from a fashionable Instagram influencer to a breakout reality TV star, the Alabama native is living proof of all the great things that can come from a “new chapter.” Still, no matter how far she goes, it appears she’ll never forget all the things that got her to where she is today—and of course, that includes her old Hyundai Sonata.
