Sabrina Carpenter Sports On-Brand Cottagecore Style While ‘Day Drinking’ With Seth Meyers

The 26-year-old singer-songwriter has styled the trending aesthetic throughout the majority of 2025.

Sabrina Carpenter gave her trademark style a festive twist while joining Seth Meyers for a few drinks as part of his evening talk show, The Late Night with Seth Meyers. For the series staple—previously starring notable names like Dua Lipa and Rihanna, among others—the pair sipped on cocktails before participating in a holiday-inspired game to round out the show’s appropriately named “Day Drinking” segment.

Likewise, Carpenter stuck with another staple—her go-to cottagecore aesthetic—for her look with the longtime TV personality. The 26-year-old “Manchild” singer donned a baby pink floral mini dress, shiny gold pumps and added a neutral fur shawl over top to keep warm. The ensemble is the latest example of how the artist, who is nominated for six Grammys at the 2026 award show, is transitioning her signature look into the new year.

However, before the 2025 calendar comes to an end in exactly two weeks, we’re resurfacing some standout cottage-core looks from the artist, who rang in a monumental year with them.

In this two-toned outfit, Carpenter encouraged her Instagram followers to “Go put on some clothes!” while posing behind a clothesline adorned with a slew of garments. The pop star donned a pair of white ruffled bloomers, which were styled with another lace-embellished cape-like top that draped just before her navel.

Her go-to look was also front and center (literally) on the cover of Variety at the start of December. In this ensemble, curated by stylist Jared Ellner, the front-page star exhibited two items from Jacquemus and Palace Costume, respectively, per the publication. The former featured a sheer, lace maxi dress, which was accessorized with the latter, a dainty headscarf of the same ivory shade.

In front of a rural backdrop framed with plenty of greenery, Carpenter provided her Instagram followers with this monochromatic set, consisting of a 3/4-sleeve scoop-neck top and teeny micro-shorts. In the same carousel, she also stuck to the sweet style with a lemon-yellow mini dress that quite simply embodied the summer season.

In an August campaign with Waymo, which accompanied her latest studio album, Man’s Best Friend, Carpenter wore a cherry red and white gingham dress, which hugged the artist’s bodice, flaring below her waist. The garment hads lots of dainty lace detailing, and the singer completed the look with drop earrings and a bright red bow in her hair.
