New year, new me is clearly Selena Gomez’s mantra going into 2026.
The singer-actress debuted a fun addition to her brand-new hairstyle to Instagram on Thursday, Jan. 21, and the short and voluminous ’do totally caught our attention. Clearly, it also stopped many of Gomez’s 415 million followers on the platform in their tracks, as her carousel of four selfies garnered 1.9 million likes as of press time.
In the cover slide of her post, the “Love On” singer sat propped up on some fuzzy bedding, wrapped in a cozy white towel as she showed off her new bob, but with the addition of some wispy, eyebrow-skimming bangs. Next, Gomez pursed her lips for the camera in an up-close selfie, which showcased her newly shorn locks fringe that softly cascaded over her eyes. In the third slide, the Only Murders in the Building star pushed the bangs off to the side, while the final photo was a quirky personality pic.
