Anne Hathaway is channeling some major Andrea Sachs energy as she takes to TikTok to model a very familiar item many have certainly seen before.

The actress posted a video showing her getting ready for her day. In the video, she’s seen brushing her teeth in her bathroom while wearing a cozy cerulean blue sweater. She captioned her video, “Heading to werk #dwp2,” letting fans know that production for the highly anticipated Devil Wears Prada sequel is absolutely underway.

In addition to Hathaway, several other stars will reprise their memorable roles. Emily Blunt will reprise her role as Emily Charlton, Stanley Tucci will return to play Nigel Kipling, Tracie Thomas comes back as Lily and Tibor Feldman will return to play Irv Ravitz. And, last but not least, Academy Award-winner Meryl Streep is set to return as Miranda Priestly.

With the main cast getting a long overdue reunion, Hathaway is more than excited for what’s to come.

“I was so beautifully cared for on both of those films,” Hathaway told Women’s Wear Daily regarding her beloved films, The Devil Wears Prada and The Princess Diaries, receiving new installments. “I was a baby, like a legal child, when I made Princess Diaries. I turned 18 while we were making it, and I was a very, very young woman when I made Devil Wears Prada. I was so guided and looked after and cared for by the communities that made both of those films, in particular, each of their directors, Garry Marshall and David Frankel.”

She continued, “I’m so excited that now I can do that for other people, that now I have the knowledge and the experience and the confidence to take care of other people on sets in which I’m looked at as a leader.”

The sequel film isn’t only filled with blasts from the past, as plenty of new faces join the fray, too. Simone Ashley, Lucy Liu, Justin Theroux, B.J. Novak, Pauline Chalamet and others are confirmed to have roles in the upcoming sequel.

As for the plot of the film, it will follow the life of Miranda Priestly as she navigates how to stay afloat in an ever-changing society in the digital age. The current description is as follows:

The storyline being discussed focuses on Miranda Priestly, Streep’s Wintour-esque protagonist, at the end of her career, facing the decline of traditional magazine publishing. She’s forced to go head-to-head with her former assistant, Blunt’s Emily Charlton, now a high-powered executive at a Kering or LVMH-style luxury group, whose advertising dollars Priestly desperately needs.

How Hathaway’s character will fit into the fold will be revealed when the film debuts in May 2026—or, at least, when the trailer is released. Until then, the world is counting down, patiently waiting for the Devil Wears Prada sequel to finally arrive.
