The recent ‘WSJ Magazine’ cover girl is certainly following in the icon’s fashionable footsteps.

Kaia Gerber isn’t afraid to say she got it from her mama, because her mom happens to be supermodel Cindy Crawford. The 22-year-old, who is following in her mother’s footsteps, is slowly but surely taking the industry by storm. Gerber was just featured on the cover of WSJ Magazine’s spring 2024 women’s fashion issue.

Crawford shared a sweet post on Instagram celebrating her own 58th birthday on Feb. 20. She included an adorable black-and-white photo from when she was a toddler, and another throwback pic from her peak modeling days in the 1990s as she blew out the candles on a massive cake shaped and decorated like a Vogue magazine cover. The final slide was a present-day video of the Meaningful Beauty cofounder posing in front of a purple-frosted cake that read “Happy Birthday Cindy.”

“I didn’t light the candles because it’s windy out, but you get the picture,” she said before pretending to blow them out. Crawford rocked a simple, soft blue button-down shirt and bare face and her honey brown locks were freshly blown out and wavy.

“Grateful for another set of birthday candles - thank you for all the love 💜🎂,” the former Victoria’s Secret model and 1988 SI Swimsuit star captioned the carousel that she shared with her 8.2 million followers on her special day.

Gerber, whom Crawford shares with her husband, Rande Gerber, added the post to her own IG story with a classy message. “like fine wine,” the Kaia Gerber Book Club creator wrote with a red heart emoji.

We totally agree. Crawford truly has aged like fine wine, and Gerber has certainly picked up the modeling gene.
