’Love Is Blind’ Season 10 Finale Recap: Who Got Married and Who Walked Away

Wait, what’s that? Is that the sound of wedding bells we hear, or the tolling of a relationship death knell? It’s honestly kind of hard to tell.
For the cast of Love Is Blind Season 10, the answer is “both,” as seen on the finale episode, which dropped Wednesday, March 4. After another tumultuous, drama-filled season of the hit Netflix show that asks if love is truly “blind,” an impressive seven couples made it out of the pods and into real life. However, we lost a few of those couples on the way to the altar—and more at the altar.
So who tied the knot, who said “I don’t” and who walked away forever? Don’t worry, we’ve got you covered with our mini recap, starting with the three couples who made it out of the pods, but unfortunately didn’t make it to their wedding days.
Which couple(s) didn’t make it to the alter?
The following couples connected while in the pods and got engaged, but broke up before the finale episode and/or their respective weddings.
Jessica and Chris
While things started sweetly enough and an attraction appeared to be blossoming during their trip to Mexico, Jessica and Chris didn’t make it to the altar. The two became the first pod pairing to break up in the “real world” this season, calling it quits after Chris sat Jessica down, explaining his lack of physical attraction to her while stating that he usually dates women who do “pilates.” Jessica ended things then and there, telling Chris before leaving: “If my body isn’t good enough for you, I’m never going to be like ‘Oh please, still love me.’”
Bri and Connor
Bri and Connor made it to the penultimate episode, with Bri feeling like Connor wasn’t “getting the best” of her due to her hectic job schedule at the time, causing her stress. Connor maintained his true feelings for Bri and his readiness for marriage; however, Bri worried she might “out-alpha” Connor, voicing concerns about their differing habits and lifestyles. As a result, the two ultimately decided not to walk down the aisle, expressing hope for a potential future relationship.
Brittany and Devonta
Similar to Bri and Connor, Brittany and Devonta’s relationship made it far—all the way to the finale episode, in fact—though they stopped just short of the altar. In footage shot on the morning that was supposed to be their wedding day, the two sat down on the couch for a candid chat, both expressing concerns about what they wanted and needed from the other. While Brittany said she “could see [her] life being with” Devonta, Devonta cited self-doubt, wondering if he “could love [her] the way [she] needed to be loved.” The two confirmed they were still engaged, but would not be getting married on the show’s timeline.
Which couple(s) made it to the altar, but didn’t get married?
The following couples walked down the aisle, but ultimately decided not to tie the knot.
Emma and Mike
The first wedding shown was Emma and Mike’s, whose biggest debate as a couple was whether they wanted to start a family. Emma expressed hesitation about having children for personal reasons, while Mike was a hard yes the entire time.
At the altar, Emma was asked the big question first. She proclaimed her love for Mike, ending her speech by confirming, “That was a ‘yes.’” However, the ambiguity around kids was too big for Mike to look past, telling Emma, “Right now, I’m not ready to say ‘I do.’ I want kids, and I want to know that you definitely, one-hundred percent, want a family with me. I don’t wanna say ‘yes’ and jump into something, and then it changes down the road, and it’s hard because, you know... I’m sorry.”
Ashley and Alex
Ashley and Alex’s journey to the altar was a road paved with timeline confusion and communication concerns. On their wedding day, Alex was asked for his answer first, but Ashley cut in, saying, “I know your answer, and it doesn’t matter to me. I know you don’t choose me, and I’m not choosing you either ... Once we left the pods, there was no effort. There was no intimacy. There were no questions you had for me. And I felt like, as soon as we moved into the apartment, we were roommates.”
Ashley also addressed her aforementioned problems with Alex’s confusing past timeline, which left her unable to trust his “integrity.” When she finished speaking, Alex stated, “I do disagree to an extent about the integrity. I felt as though the questions about my past were more to try and catch me in something than really understand me ... I personally don’t think I’ve missed the mark on integrity, but I do understand your feelings, and I respect your decision without a doubt.”
Which couple(s) got married?
Finally, the following couples not only made it to the finale episode and the altar, but left the show with a permanent plus-one.
Amber and Jordan
Amber and Jordan were the second couple featured in the finale and had been a strong pair throughout Season 10, with very few hiccups in their communication or merging lifestyles. The biggest factor for the couple to consider was Jordan’s relationship with both Amber’s child and her child’s father, as they are, of course, important people in her life.
On their wedding day, Amber was asked to answer first, saying, “I do,” before adding, “But I understand if there are any doubts. I have a lot going on.” When Jordan’s turn came, he simply said, “I wanna follow my heart and say ‘I do.’” He then reconfirmed his answer was “yes” after the officiant asked for clarification, causing the audience of friends and family to erupt in applause for the newlyweds.
Christine and Vic
The last couple showcased on the finale was also, fittingly, one of the first to get engaged in the pods—and it should come as no surprise to anyone watching that Christine and Vic tied the knot.
They were easily one of the strongest couples (if not the strongest) on Season 10, having very few disagreements and working through the ones they did have with open communication. At the altar, Ashley was asked the big question first, answering, “I do” without so much as a pause. Vic responded to her with equal quickness, saying, “You’re a special woman, and you’re more than that—you’re my woman,” before adding, “I do.”
When is the Love Is Blind reunion?
The Love Is Blind Season 10 reunion episode will be available to stream on Netflix beginning Wednesday, March 11, at 8 p.m. ET!
