Megan Thee Stallion Is ‘Manifesting’ Engagement to Klay Thompson After Seeing Olympic Proposal

The musician, clearly inspired by Hilary Knight’s proposal to Brittany Bowe, shared her intentions for walking down the aisle to the Dallas Mavericks guard.

While in Italy for the Milan Cortina Games, Megan Thee Stallion had the opportunity to work out with speed skater Sarah Warren and take a ballet class alongside instructor Giuseppe Migliorisi.

In another segment of her “Megan Takes Milan” YouTube series, the three-time Grammy Award-winning artist dined at Milan’s Ribot Ristorante with gold medal-winning Team U.S. hockey player Laila Edwards. During their meal, the two were joined by Edwards’s teammate, five-time Olympic medalist Hilary Knight, as well as Knight’s fiancé, speed skater and two-time Olympic medalist Brittany Bowe.

In addition to winning big with her teammates, Knight achieved a personal victory off the ice during the Winter Games when Bowe accepted her marriage proposal. After the newly-engaged pair joined Megan and Edwards at their table, the “Hot Girl Summer” singer asked to see the video of the sweet moment, which occurred in the Olympic Village on Feb. 18.

“She’s like, ‘Hell yeah, I’mma marry you,’” Megan gushed of the clip. “I love love, that’s so sweet. Manifesting my engagement too,” she added while crossing her fingers.

Megan has been linked to Dallas Mavericks guard Klay Thompson since last summer. The pair soft launched their relationship on social media before going public with their romance on the Pete & Thomas Foundation Gala red carpet in mid July 2025.

Since then, the rapper and professional athlete have publicly gushed over their love for one another. The power couple are beloved by friends and fans alike, who, according to the comments section of Megan’s Feb. 24 YouTube clip, would love nothing more than to see the pair take their relationship to the next level.

“Manifest that engagement Meg! We know it’s coming,” one fan wrote.

“She would be a gorgeous bride🥹,” another user noted.

“We are all manifesting it for you Megan. Great content in Milan,” someone else added.

“Oh trust our boy Klay done clocked the manifesting my engagement too just like the my dream car he just got,” another fan declared, referencing the blue Bentley the athlete gifted his significant other for her 31st birthday. Megan celebrated her big day earlier this month on Feb. 15.

“Congratulations to the ladies and hopefully we’ll be hearing some good news soon for Megan and Klay…fingers crossed and prayers up,” one person wrote, clearly jumping onboard with the singer’s potential walk down the aisle.

“I’m manifesting (praying) for Megan and Klay’s engagement too. Genuine love looks so good on Megan—she’s glowing and I’m very happy for her!” another fan concurred.
