While the San Francisco 49ers squad fell to the Kansas City Chiefs in overtime during Super Bowl LVIII, it certainly was a close one and a small win margin.

The Chiefs earned the Lombardi Trophy with a 25-22 victory, but there were still some silver linings for the 49ers and their fans. Among them was a really sweet moment shared before the game by model Olivia Culpo and her fiancé, Christian McCaffrey.

The pair, who have been engaged since last April, shared an affectionate embrace before kickoff on the sidelines at Allegiant Stadium. McCaffrey, a star running back on the 49ers lineup, walked off the field during warmups to give Culpo a big hug ahead of game time.

The 31-year-old was dressed in her game day best: a black catsuit, thin leather belt with a gold buckle, pointed high heels and a floor-length black wool coat embroidered with McCaffrey’s name and number in red-and-gold.

“It’s game time 🔥,” Culpo captioned a post that she shared right before kickoff. The carousel included a sweet clip of the pair embracing on the sidelines as well as several photos of the model posing in the Las Vegas stadium with her future mother-in-law, Lisa McCaffrey, and other family members.

Though the 49ers couldn’t pull of a win on the big stage, it was certainly a memorable night for Culpo and her future husband. We can’t wait to see what’s next for the sweet couple.
