While the general public seems to be over the moon about Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce’s blossoming relationship (us included), apparently not everyone is on board. In fact, former UFC star Paige VanZant recently claimed that the 12-time Grammy Award winning artist and two-time Super Bowl champ’s courtship is totally fake.

The 29-year-old pro wrestler made the bold statement on an episode of her podcast, A Kickass Love Story, which she cohosts with her husband, Austin Vanderford, 33. “I think that the Taylor Swift, Travis Kelce love story, I believe it is 100% fake,” she stated. "Come for me, Swifties.”

VanZant shared a snippet from the conversation on Instagram on Wednesday to mixed feedback.

“I actually 100% agree with this!” one of VanZant’s 3.2 million followers wrote in the comments.

“I’ve loved you and followed you for years but I’m unfollowing after this one,” one person noted. “Do some research before making claims like this pls because Taylor would never 🙄.”

“She’s a billionaire that tours the globe, he’s a multi millionaire that has two championships in one of the worlds biggest sports leagues,” someone else pointed out. “What do they possibly have to gain from this?”

VanZant doubled down in the caption of the post, which was shared jointly with Vanderford’s personal account and their podcast IG page. “There. I said it and I mean it 😂,” she wrote.

While the bare knuckle boxer can certainly hold her own in the ring, we personally wouldn’t advise riling up dedicated Swifties worldwide.
