Alix Earle Shares Intense Workout Routine, Reveals ‘Helpful’ Tip She Recently Learned

Alix Earle brought fans along for her most recent trip to the gym, sharing a few helpful tips she’s learned along the way. Posting on TikTok Monday, March 9, the model, content creator and Dancing With the Stars Season 34 runner-up gave her 8.3 million followers a look at what her latest workout entailed, and to say it was “no joke” would be an understatement.

The Get Real With Me host was joined by her friend, Alyssa Caparelli, with the two arriving at the gym in coordinating workout-ready ensembles. Earle began the video by saying she planned to “follow [Caparelli’s] lead,” stating she’s “a little bit better at this stuff.” The two then started with some simple stretches to warm up before diving in.
First, they performed synchronized squats for one minute, each holding a 35lb weight, repeating the set twice. They moved on to arms, using 15lb weights, once again performing one-minute sets repeated twice. Following these lifts, they engaged their cores with heel touches. “Usually, I go to a Pilates class, or I have, like, the same routine I always do in the gym,” Earle said in the voiceover accompanying the clips. “So this was good for me to, like, follow along and do something else—though I was struggling a little bit.”
Still, the content creator pushed through, showcasing more arm exercises using 7.5lb weights, some split squats and a variety of planks and core-tightening moves. “Also, something I learned recently is ‘breathing.’ Sounds simple, but I used to never really breathe when I was working out,” she admitted, adding the tip, “Exhaling and really squeezing your core is really, really helpful.” All in all, Earle stated she and Caparelli worked out for “40 minutes” total, finishing everything off with one minute’s worth of bicycle crunches.
