WAG fashion and lifestyle content has become a major cornerstone of most modern sports fandoms. Moving from their seats on the sidelines to the center of style conversations, the wives and girlfriends of popular athletes have secured their places in the spotlight.
While we’ve covered many NFL WAGs this season, the WAGs of Formula 1 have also garnered significant attention from viewers over the past few years, with their cool and casual looks inspiring fashion fans all over the world. Recently, InStyle reported that the search for F1 WAGs reached an all-time high in August on Google Trends, signaling more interest than ever in the wives and girlfriends who show up and show out to support their high-speed significant others.
When the stars of F1 racing are speeding around the track, they can always count on their partners to be cheering them on from the sidelines—and fans can always count on seeing some truly fantastic ‘fits. The WAGs of F1 are an incredible, hard-working, accomplished group of women, ranging from models to entrepreneurs to athletes and beyond, and it’s high time they got their own showcase!
With that in mind, let’s meet the ladies backing some fan-favorite F1 drivers in 2025.
Carmen Montero Mundt (George Russell)
According to PEOPLE, Carmen works in “investor relations.” She and George met through a mutual friend in London and have been romantically linked since at least 2020. George drives for Mercedes and has had a total of five Formula 1 Grand Prix wins over the course of his career.
Carmen is very supportive of George’s work, often posting photos from the audience of his events while cheering the driver on. In fact, George has even gone so far as to refer to Carmen as his “number 1 fan” on Instagram.
Lily Zneimer (Oscar Piastri)
Lily and the McLaren driver—who won Rookie of the Year at the 2023 FIA Prize Giving Ceremony—met while she was attending a boarding school in England, according to Marie Claire. The two keep their relationship relatively offline, which means there’s no definitive timeline for when their romance began, but they’ve been together since their late teen years.
While Lily’s social media accounts are kept private, Oscar is still happy to share snapshots of the two lovebirds on various vacations. In a 2019 interview, the driver clarified, “We keep it private, [but] not secretive like some relationships are. We keep it to ourselves and try to be out of the spotlight and just live normal lives.”
Kelly Piquet (Max Verstappen)
According to Us Weekly, Kelly and the Red Bull Racing driver—who has a total of 67 Formula 1 Grand Prix wins—first crossed paths in 2016, but didn’t officially begin dating until sometime in 2020, before becoming Instagram official in 2021. Kelly, a model, can often be spotted cheering Max on during his events and posting photos of their post-race kisses to social media.
In December 2024, the pair announced they were expecting their first child. They welcomed their daughter, Lily, to the world in May 2025, with the couple writing in a joint Instagram caption, “Welcome to the world, sweet Lily 🌸 Our hearts are fuller than ever - you are our greatest gift. We love you so much 💗.”
Lily Muni He (Alexander Albon)
These two first connected over social media back in 2019, all thanks to their mutual love of (and skill in) golf, as they both play the sport professionally. While chatting with Golf Week, Lily revealed that during a golf slump, a friend encouraged her to watch the documentary Drive to Survive, which motivated her. She followed Alexander on Instagram, and the two began chatting—the rest is history.
Lily and the Williams driver are the definition of “couple goals” when it comes to balancing the difficulties of a long-distance relationship, as they both travel extensively for their respective sports. Still, they’ve found a way to make it work, and Lily can regularly be spotted in the stands at Alexander’s events.
Alexandra Saint Mleux (Charles Leclerc)
Alexandra is a social media influencer. According to Cosmopolitan, she and the Ferrari driver—who has a total of eight Formula 1 Grands Prix wins—were first romantically linked back in March 2023 after they were spotted together at Paris Fashion Week. They confirmed their relationship in July of that same year with their first official outing as a couple at Wimbledon.
The two are regularly spotted out and about together, whether it be snuggling up at a basketball game or looking stylish at a movie premiere. In April 2024, they embraced the joys of pet parenthood by adopting an adorable puppy named Leo.
Francisca Cerqueira Gomes (Pierre Gasly)
Francisca (whose nickname is “Kika”) is a model who has worked with major brands including Calvin Klein and Carolina Herrera. She has been romantically linked to the Alpine driver—who won the Italian Grand Prix back in 2020—since 2022, before they went Instagram official in 2023.
While the two aren’t too public about their love story, they’re not shy about sharing snippets from their many travels together on social media or rocking a stunning matching look on the Cannes Film Festival red carpet.
Flavy Barla (Esteban Ocon)
According to her Instagram bio, Flavy is a medical student from France. However, she’s also a social media influencer and former pageant participant, having won the Miss Côte d’Azur in 2022. Romantically linked since at least 2023, Flavy and the Haas driver—who won the Hungarian Grand Prix back in 2021—were first spotted together in Abu Dhabi.
“Cupid got us good 😍😍,” the pair adorably wrote in a joint caption for Valentine’s Day earlier this year, which accompanied snapshots of the two stylishly snuggled up with a bouquet of red flowers.
Melissa Jiménez (Fernando Alonso)
Melissa is a journalist and TV announcer who covers F1 events for DAZN. She is also a mother to three children from her previous marriage. Meanwhile, Fernando drives for Aston Martin, and his ties to F1 date back to the late ‘90s. He has a total of 32 Formula 1 Grand Prix wins, as well as several other distinctions from throughout his career.
While this couple keeps their love story mostly private, their relationship officially became public in 2023, according to HOLA!
Rebecca Donaldson (Carlos Sainz)
As reported by PEOPLE, Rebecca is a model who has been featured on the cover of magazines including Vogue Ukraine and Marie Claire México. She has also walked various runways, including shows during Madrid Fashion Week. Aside from her work as a model, she founded a clothing brand called Muse Activewear, which she launched in October 2020.
She and Carlos—who currently drives for Williams and has a total of four Formula 1 Grand Prix wins—were first spotted together by fans in 2023. While the two try to keep their lives online mostly separate, Rebecca can regularly be seen seated in the stands to support Carlos.
Egle Hülkenberg (Nico Hülkenberg)
Egle (whose nickname is “Sunny”) is a fashion designer and the founder of her own brand, which specializes in crochet styles, many of which can be seen on her Instagram.
She tied the knot with the Kick Sauber driver—who had his first podium finish this year at the British Grand Prix—in 2021, after the two first crossed paths in 2015, according to Essentially Sports. The two also share a daughter.
