Haley Baylee Shares Heartbreaking Reason She’s Taking a Break From Social Media

Haley Baylee is opening up about where she’s been the last couple of weeks, and her fans are rallying around her with love and support.

The model and content creator was last seen on social media on Thursday, March 26, when she shared a video with her 9.8 million Instagram followers and her 16.8 million TikTok followers. In the clip, she could be seen smiling, walking around the set of Hannah Montana. However, Baylee hadn’t posted anything in the time since—until Sunday, April 5, when she opened up about the heartbreaking reasons for her recent absence.

Baylee updates fans on her life offline

In the video, Baylee opened up about the recent loss of her beloved pet and her subsequent social media hiatus. “I haven’t really been online recently, and I wanted to update you guys because you are part of my family, and I really think that you should know what’s going on,” the content creator said through tears. “Today, I had to put my cat down. Her name was Peanut, and I’ve had her since I was 18, and that’s been really, really, really hard.”

Baylee went on to reveal that she’s also been spending time with her family in Minnesota, as her grandfather is currently in hospice. As a result, she let fans know that she was planning to “take a little bit of time” away to be present with her family. “I’ll be back very soon,” Baylee concluded in the video. “I already miss this so much ...”

At the time of this article’s publication, Baylee’s video has been viewed over 1.6 million times on TikTok. Naturally, many of the content creator’s fans and famous friends left messages of support in both of her comment sections, rallying around the star to share their love.

“I’m so, so sorry love,” Leyna Bloom penned on Instagram. “Losing a pet who’s been your best friend in this life… that kind of love is so real, and that kind of loss cuts so deep. I’m holding you close through this.”
