Olivia Dunne Takes Her Gymnastics Skills From the Mat to the Snow in Impressive Video

The athlete may have officially retired from the sport earlier this year, but that doesn’t mean she’s lost her impressive skillset.

No matter the weather, Olivia Dunne is always prepared to bust out an impressive flip or two, and we’re rating her latest routine a strong 11 out of 10.

The model and content creator announced her official retirement from gymnastics back in April after participating in the sport since she was just three years old. During her tenure on the mat, Dunne had a stint on the USA national team in 2017 before joining the Louisiana State University Tigers in 2020, with the team taking home their first NCAA women’s gymnastics championship in 2024.

Still, just because she’s left the sport doesn’t mean she’s lost her impressive skillset—a fact the athlete clearly demonstrated in a recent TikTok video, all while humorously referencing an iconic Y2K movie moment.

Bring It On: the unofficial snow sequel

In the clip, Dunne was shown bundled up in several layers to fight the chilly weather, including a black hooded puffer jacket, LSU-branded sweatpants, purple mittens and white high-top sneakers.

That said, this heavy, winter-ready outfit didn’t slow the athlete down one bit. In the blink of an eye, the gymnast began a sequence of multiple flips as a sound clip from the classic cheerleading comedy Bring It On played, instructing Dunne on which move to do next. For those unfamiliar with the quote, the moveset request states: “Front handspring stepout, roundoff back handspring stepout, roundoff back handspring full twisting layout.”

The camera followed Dunne closely as she moved through the routine, landing in the snow without completing the “full twisting layout” portion of the command (presumably for safety reasons, given the slickness of wet snow and frozen ground). As the perfect cherry on top of the feat, her dog ran up to greet her as she landed in the snow, with the sweet pup clearly as impressed as Dunne’s fans were by what they had just witnessed.

Commenters are loving it

And of course, Dunne’s comment section was filled to the brim with friends, followers and family members who were all in awe of her snowy skills:

“how the hell you do that in 50 pounds of clothes,” one fan questioned.

“In the snow?! We’re impressed ❄️💪,” Anytime Fitness declared.

“Your videographer must be really funny and pretty and super cool,” the athlete’s sister, Julz Dunne, teased. “Just get that vibe idk”

“That was a spectacular performance but have to deduct a point on that snow angel landing ☃️,” another commenter joked.

No worries on that deduction, though, as our aforementioned and very serious score of 11 out of 10 should make up for any lost points!
