Olivia Dunne’s Viral TikTok About Paul Skenes’s Household Chores Has Fans in Stitches

Olivia Dunne just humorously reminded boyfriend Paul Skenes that, while he may be a big deal when he’s on the pitching mound, he still has chores to do at home that require just as much attention.

The content creator, model and actress—who just announced she’d been cast in a recurring role on FOX’s upcoming reboot of Baywatch—stopped by TikTok over the weekend to share her latest video from the stands while supporting the Pittsburgh Pirates pitcher. Dunne, who’s been romantically linked to Skenes since 2022 when they attended Louisiana State University together, is often spotted cheering on the 2025 Cy Young Award winner from the sidelines—and also, making relatable jokes about their relationship on social media.

And this weekend was no exception to either rule, with the actress’s latest video about the pitcher already accumulating over 5 million views at the time of this article’s publication.

Skenes has chores awaiting him at home

In the short clip, Dunne could be seen sitting in the sunshine among her fellow fans on Saturday, March 21, as Skenes pitched his last spring training game against the Toronto Blue Jays.

First, the content creator simply smiled, shooting the camera a knowing look. Then, the video cut to a shot of Skenes on the mound, throwing a pitch, before cutting back to Dunne, smiling wider, clapping with two of her fingers. Text over the video read, “He doesn’t know it yet but he has to help me put on the duvet cover when we get home.” She then added in the caption, “sorry babe #baseball #mlb #paulskenes #bf.”

The video references a variation on a trend that has been popular among couples over the last few months—especially among the wives and girlfriends of athletes—highlighting the humorous reality of the relatable, dreaded duties couples still have to do together at home, no matter how impressive their full-time jobs are. Haileigh Caruso, the wife of basketball player Alex Caruso, also posted her own version of the trend earlier this month while supporting the point guard at a recent game.
