Olivia Dunne Celebrates Spring Training With New ‘Pranks on Paul Skenes’ Video Series

Olivia Dunne certainly knows how to keep the mood light while her boyfriend, Paul Skenes, prepares for Spring Training.
The retired NCAA gymnast has been dating the Pittsburgh Pirates pitcher for years, the two having met while attending Louisiana State University. In the time since, Dunne has regularly been spotted at Skenes’s games, supporting her partner from the sidelines—and this week, she’s taking that support to a whole new level, courtesy of her latest TikTok series.
“Pranks on Paul”
In a video posted to the app on Tuesday, Feb. 24, the content creator let her 7.9 million followers in on her latest mission: pranking Skenes throughout Spring Training. “I thought I’d come up with a new series: Pranks on Paul,” Dunne explained, smiling as she laid out her plan. “Prank number one in a little [bit]—I’ll keep you updated.”
She then returned in a later clip, explaining her delightfully devious plot to the camera. Her inaugural prank was simple enough: asking Skenes to “crack [her] back,” during which Dunne would have a piece of dry pasta hidden in her mouth. As he lifted her, she would bite down on the pasta, creating a loud snapping noise. The prank was a-go once the 2025 Cy Young Award winner returned home, with Dunne requesting that he help with the aforementioned stretch. He did, and—as the loud “crunch” sounded and his girlfriend fell to the ground—the pitcher was visibly confused, asking if she was okay.
Dunne laughed, letting Skenes know she was, in fact, all right. The two continued to giggle as she explained what happened, with the content creator simply captioning the video, “pranked the unprankable #springtraining #prank #baseball #mlb #bf”

Fans are already on board
And of course, fans of the power couple were delighted by this display of silliness, hopping in the comments to share their thoughts on the new series. While some expressed concern for Skenes’s stress levels, others applauded their sweet dynamic.
“Paul going undefeated in 2026 because of this,” one user proclaimed.
“Don’t spike bro’s cortisol!” A concerned commenter wrote.
“Even the dog couldn’t believe it,” another fan joked, referring to their pup’s reaction to the noise.
“Wait I’m cracking up (pun intended),” Dunne’s sister, Julz Dunne, added.
According to the MLB’s website, Spring Training will wrap up toward the end of March, meaning Skenes has another month to look forward to Dunne’s pranks—and fans will likely have plenty more videos to enjoy!
