Sabrina Carpenter just surprised fans with the date of her next music video release, and she promised it’s not an April Fool’s Day joke.

The pop sensation has been on a roll the last few years, claiming the unofficial “Song of the Summer” crown two years in a row with her hits “Espresso” in 2024 and “Manchild” in 2025. While the Grammy Award winner’s music alone is incredibly celebrated, Carpenter is also known for her cinematic music videos. These also usually star some familiar faces, with her last few music videos featuring the likes of Jenna Ortega, Barry Keoghan and Coleman Domingo.

And this week, the star continued this tradition, dropping a teaser for her next music video on Instagram to the delight of her 50.9 million followers.

What’s Carpenter’s next music video?

On Wednesday, April 1, Carpenter confirmed that her next single and music video would be “House Tour,” captioning the short teaser, “no joke…house tour video this Monday 🩷 xo.”

In the video, the recording artist drove a pink vehicle, revealing actresses Madelyn Cline and Margaret Qualley sitting beside her in the passenger seats. Carpenter smoked a cigarette while Cline touched up her makeup and Qualley enjoyed a red lolly pop. The overall fashion stuck to Carpenter’s signature style, with the singer sporting a vintage look complete with a crocheted red cop and pearl-dotted beret.

On the radio, the women listened to a police report that seemed to insinuate they might be on the run from the law, the voice declaring, “Reports of robbery and theft are sweeping the neighborhood. The suspects have been described as three young women in minimal clothes. As far as we know, they are armed and dangerous ...” As Carpenter turned off the car, Cline asked, “Should we go in the back door?” To which Carpenter and Qualley both responded “NO!”—a direct reference to lyrics from the cheeky tune.

Fans react to Carpenter’s news

As expected, we weren’t the only ones ready to take a stroll down “pretty girl avenue.” Within only an hour of being posted, the teaser already accumulated over 1.2 million likes and nearly 15,000 comments on Instagram at the time of this article’s publication. There, fans of the singer and actresses shared their excitement.

“this is not a metaphor!!!!” One fan joked, also referencing lyrics from the track.

“YESSSSS! OUR POP GIRLY IS BACK,” another declared.

“the trio we never knew we needed OMG,” a commenter added.

“watched it 3 times in a row to give each bombshell her moment,” the official brand account for Universal Music Austria penned.

Be sure to catch the music video for “House Tour” when it premieres on Monday, April 6!
