Selena Gomez and Benny Blanco Cuddle Up in the Snow to Start the New Year

The newlyweds rang in 2026 with a great view of snowy mountaintops.

Selena Gomez and husband Benny Blanco are getting 2026 off to a great start, ringing in the New Year in an undisclosed, snowy location.

The Rare Beauty founder shared a carousel of snapshots from the couple’s romantic getaway to Instagram on Dec. 31, starting with an image of Gomez in a colorful snowsuit in front of a snowy mountaintop. Her post also featured a sweet selfie, a video of the “Love On” singer sledding down a hill and the pair cuddled up on both a ski lift and an outdoor seating area.

Gomez captioned the series of pics she shared with her 416 million followers with a simple snowflake emoji. Fans and friends of the celeb quickly chimed in the comments section to wish the newlyweds a happy New Year.

“Happy New Year!!!! ✨💕,” actress Shay Mitchell wrote.

“Snow bunnyyy,” pal Connar Franklin Carpenter added.

“You’re always glowing but like you’re really really glowing rn. Your skin looks ISNANE!😍,” a fan proclaimed.

Ringing in the New Year in the snow capped off a fun-filled holiday season for Gomez and Blanco, who also celebrated the Christmas holiday in a wintery wonderland. The 33-year-old Only Murders in the Building star recapped their visit to a light display in a Dec. 23 post, in which the couple snuggled up and reminded the general public that they are, in fact, couple goals.

Last year was an incredibly special one for Gomez and Blanco, who tied the knot in an intimate ceremony in Santa Barbara, Calif., on September 27. The pair were engaged for less than a year, as they announced their plans to walk down the aisle on Dec. 11, 2024. Gomez and Blanco, who first went public with their partnership in late 2023, aren’t shy about gushing over one another on social media or during interviews.

“I’ve never been loved this way,” Gomez told Vanity Fair in September of 2024. “He’s just been a light. A complete light in my life. He’s my best friend. I love telling him everything.”

The future is bright for this talented couple, and we can’t wait to see what 2026 has in store for Gomez and Blanco. Professionally, the singer-actress is set to star in Season 6 of Hulu’s Only Murders in the Building, while two more 2026 projects, including In the Shadow of the Mountain and Spiral, are currently in pre-production.
