Simone Biles Celebrates Opening of New Restaurant With Husband Jonathan Owens

The Olympian’s Taste of Gold is located in Terminal A at George Bush Intercontinental Airport in Houston.

Simone Biles added yet another accolade to her already impressive résumé this week, and it’s her most delicious one yet!

The record-breaking Olympic gymnast announced that her new restaurant—appropriately named Taste of Gold—is officially open for business inside George Bush Intercontinental Airport (Terminal A, to be specific) in Houston, Texas, as of Thursday, March 26. To celebrate the exciting news, Biles shared a look at the opening on her Instagram account, including several sweet snapshots of herself posing with her husband, NFL star Jonathan Owens. She also stopped by TikTok to surprise her 5.6 million followers there with the announcement.

“Surprise! I have a restaurant,” Biles proclaimed to start the aforementioned TikTok clip, showing off her branded T-shirt from the establishment. “Today was the grand opening, so we got to do the ribbon cutting and everything else!”

The elite athlete then went on to detail a few of the menu’s offerings, stating that the food is “Tex-Mex” style, which she noted is “her favorite.” She also joked that, if anyone sees her hanging out at the establishment, they should come up and “say ‘Hi!’” because she “basically lives there.” “I was telling them today that, after the restaurant, we should probably build a bedroom,” she quipped toward the end of the video, “Because I’m there so often.”

As noted above, she also posted an eight-photo carousel from the grand opening on Instagram, sharing snapshots from the special day with her 12 million followers. In the cover photo, she and Owens smiled while holding the carefully curated menu. Biles wore a stylish twist on the popular corpcore trend in a gold tweed blazer mini dress, which she paired with a strappy set of coordinating heels. Meanwhile, Owens opted for an all-black ensemble, accessorizing with a mix of silver and gold jewelry.

“Congrats!!!” Fellow Olympian Lindsey Vonn penned in the comment section on Instagram. Coco Gauff then echoed this sentiment, adding, “congratulations ❤️❤️❤️.”

“Now I know there’s gotta be tequila shots and a margarita somewhere on that menu !! Congrats queen 🖤,” one user wrote, to which Biles responded, “a tequila flight 🤏🏾”

“Can you please change root beer float to 'Goat Float,'” One fan joked, with Biles writing back, “🤔💭🤏🏾”
