Addison Rae Is Ethereal in Daring White Micro Mini Dress for Latest Performance

Addison Rae is taking over the pop world and debuting some fantastic ‘fits while doing so.
The Louisiana native recently headed across the pond to meet Lana Del Rey in London as an opener for the Born To Die singer’s two-day stint at Wembley Stadium on July 3 and 4, where she sported a stunning studded micro mini dress that was simply show-stopping.
With a plunging neckline adorned with crystals and a sheer cream-colored bodice that flowed dreamily as she moved around the stage, Rae was right at home in the spotlight.
The 24-year-old has had an incredible couple of years thanks to the release of several hit songs like “Diet Pepsi” and “Aquamarine,” as well as the release of her first studio album Addison, which dropped on June 6, transforming her from a social media darling to a worldwide pop sensation. Rae recently sat down with ELLE to chat about her social media roots and the role TikTok played as she shifted into the music space.
“I was doing any sponsored video I could do to make money to try and make this work for myself [...] That’s why I was posting so much,” Rae told the publication with regards to her social media stardom back in April. “I was like, ‘There’s only one chance.’ It was a big bet to make, and I knew I would hate myself if I didn’t try as hard as I could to make this happen. I wasn’t going to let being cringe and posting a million videos stop me.”
While her claim to fame may have started on TikTok, Rae recently revealed to The New York Times that making music was always her long-term career plan, telling the outlet, “When I met [my managers], I was like, ‘I wanna be an actor and I wanna be a dancer and I wanna be a singer and I wanna be a star.’”
“I think it comes up now, with people feeling like, ‘Oh, this is inauthentic or did you ever even like to make music or did you ever sing or [were] you ever anything more than just a TikTok dancer?’” She added, “[That] was because I was just like, ‘I’m gonna make it out of here first.’”
As if it were manifested, Rae now finds herself exactly where she had always wanted to be as she preps for her first world tour, aptly titled The Addison Tour. Performances begin with the European leg on Aug. 26 in Dublin, Ireland, and she finishes her international run in Sydney, Australia, on Nov. 17.
