In honor of National Bikini Day, we’re taking a look at how your favorite celebrities sported this summertime staple.

January

SZA started the year off strong with this mirror selfie in an itty-bitty contrasting suit. She paired the bikini’s gold hardware with matching gold statement rings and a pendant necklace.

February

Just 10 days before season 3 of The White Lotus premiered, Aimee Lou Wood gave her fans a sneak peek into the actress’s newest character, Chelsea. The beloved fan favorite of the series repped this cherry red suit during her stay at the Thailand resort.

Millie Bobby Brown also rocked a similar red number, as the Florence by Mills founder lounged on a seaside hammock. If you look closely, the freshly turned 21-year-old (whose birthday is Feb. 19) is reading Vanity Fair with a familiar face on its cover.

March

Sydney Sweeney was the coolest mermaid as she took a dip in a cerulean pool. “How do you do this?” Madelyn Cline commented on the Anyone But You star’s post, adding, “I would have drowned, I fear.”

Dua Lipa gave her fans “Kisses from Sydney” as she debuted several snaps in this star-patterned bikini. Completing the look with skinny black sunnies and a matching turquoise and red beach towel, the pop star was ready to soak up the sun.

April

Shay Mitchell threw on this staple black swimsuit, which she paired with a neon Nike ACG long-sleeve top, for a day of jet-skiing on the water. The BÉIS founder also went for a swim, bringing her snorkel and goggles with her.

Jessica Alba had us missing the warm weather with these throwback posts, accessorizing a neutral suit with a flowy green and white set. The actress added some black sunnies and gold jewelry to finish off her oceanside ensemble.

Lorde prefaced her newest album Virgin with this dreamy sunset reel as her song “Man of the Year” played in the background. “Let’s GOOO,” Hunter Schafer wrote in the comments.

Halle Bailey showed off her “mom bod” in this all-white ’fit. Adding a baby pink button-up for a pop of color in one frame, the leading lady showed off her nautical number at sea.

Lizzo sported her own swimwear line Yitty in several bold-colored looks. In the six-slide carousel, the four-time Grammy-winner showed off the collection’s range in plunging one-pieces and patterned string bikinis.

June

Kendall Jenner sat under the “strawberry moon” in a chocolate brown bikini in these desert snapshots. She kept her face out of the sunshine with a wide-brimmed straw hat as the model lounged poolside.

Kerry Washington celebrated Juneteenth by advising her followers to “Do what brings you JOY.” She paired a black triangle suit with a ruby red lip and oversized gold hoops as she joyfully jumped into a pool.
