Claire Kittle put a daring spin on traditional WAG fashion this past weekend, and we haven’t been able to stop thinking about it.

The wife of San Francisco 49ers tight end George Kittle, she and the football star were college sweethearts. The tight end popped the question in 2018, they eloped that same year and the rest is history! Overall, Kittle has become a mainstay when it comes to sporting incredible sideline looks while supporting her husband, and she’s often spotted alongside fellow stylish 49ers WAG Kristin Juszczyk.

Still, Kittle’s most recent ensemble—which she wore to the 49ers game against the Atlanta Falcons this past Sunday, Oct. 19—just might be one of our all-time favorites. The best part? It’s so easy to replicate!

Expert WAG styling

Taking to her Instagram account to share the look with her followers, Kittle posed on the field wearing a vintage 49ers jersey—but with a twist. Merging football with iconic baseball styling, the cream-colored piece featured a button-up front, thin vertical stripes and a 49ers emblem embroidered over the left side of the bustline.

Kittle styled the look as a mini dress, opting out of traditional bottoms to instead rock a pair of semi-sheer black tights. While her creative base outfit may have appeared daring but simple, it was the perfect canvas to build upon with accessories. Kittle opted for a multitude of gold jewelry pieces, black sunglasses and a pair of pointed-toe black heels with a sweet Mary Jane-style ankle strap.

She slicked her long, dark hair back off her face in a tight, high bun to allow her glowy glam to shine, which incorporated various shades of pink and peach. In short, the 49ers may have won the game 20-10 on Sunday, but Kittle won the only slightly less exciting title of “Our Personal Favorite WAG Look of the Week.”

Replicate the Look

In the caption of her Instagram photo drop, Kittle noted that this outfit was crafted in partnership with JCPenney, and she graciously linked many of the pieces in her Instagram story on Wednesday for any fans who wanted to copy her style.

Still, part of what makes this outfit so marvelous is how simple it is to replicate, and how many different ways style-savvy football fans can tweak it to make it their own!

For last Sunday’s look, Kittle wore the Men’s Mitchell & Ness Cream San Francisco 49ers Final Seconds Vintage Logo Mesh Button-Up Shirt ($109.99). However, fans can switch out this piece for any oversized jersey, repping any beloved sport and/or team—so long as the top is long enough to double as a mini dress!

Alternatively, a similar look could still be achieved with a shorter top by pairing a slightly oversized piece with a pair of form-fitting black micro shorts, or by layering a similar top over a black mini skirt.

Sheer tights

Kittle linked to three separate pairs of tights in her Instagram story, presumably to provide fans with more options.

Of the three pairs, the Berkshire Hosiery Sheer Backseam Pantyhose ($15, on sale for $12) appeared to be the closest to what she was wearing at the game, given their sheerness. However, she also included the Berkshire Hosiery Womens Cozy Hose Tights ($15, on sale for $12) and the Mixit Womens Opaque Medium Support Plus Tights ($10.50, on sale for $8.40), both of which are opaque to provide a more covered-up final look.

Heels

Similar to the tights, Kittle linked out multiple options for footwear, though none were an exact match for the pair she had on in the photos.

The closest match featured on the list were the RM Rebecca Minkoff Judith Womens Pointed Closed Toe Stiletto Heel Pumps ($60, on sale for $48), which had the same pointed-toe shape and overall aesthetic as her chic game-day footwear, but lacked the ankle strap and shine. However, for fans looking to go in a completely different direction and perhaps add their own festive fall-friendly spin to the look, she also included the Worthington Womens Overhill Stiletto Heel Over the Knee Boots ($57.99, on sale for $46.39).

Accessories

The name of the game when it came to her accessories was gold, gold and more gold. Kittle provided plenty of options in her list when it came to specific accessories she wore to set the outfit off; however, those looking to replicate their own version of her original ensemble could absolutely take liberties with their chosen pieces and metals.
