Claire Kittle’s Sideline Style Proves This Divisive Trend Is Back for NFL Season

Claire Kittle’s sideline style is always on point—and this weekend, she brought back a trend that’s sparking serious debate: jorts.
At the San Francisco 49ers game on Sunday, the style star and longtime WAG paired medium-wash cargo denim shorts with an oversized white NFL jersey-style muscle tank. The top, featuring husband George Kittle’s number 85 in bold red with black trim, gave the look a classic fanwear base, while the jorts added a sporty-meets-streetwear edge.
She finished the outfit with an “All Gas No Brakes” trucker hat and layered mixed-metal jewelry, including a chunky link necklace, statement rings and bangles and bracelets on both wrists. Strappy red heels tied the whole look together—literally—and her long jet-black hair was worn smooth and straight. With sculpted glam, bold lashes and a glossy mauve lip, Kittle had all eyes on her.
“IGYB @gkittle 💪🏼,” the 31-year-old captioned the carousel, including some sweet shots of her and the tight end.
Sidelines style
This isn't Kittle’s first standout moment in the Levi’s Stadium spotlight. The Iowa native is known for her love of vintage pieces—particularly ‘80s-era 49ers gear—and has become a game day icon thanks to her creative, pre-planned looks and fashion-forward mindset.
She’s also part of the WAG fashion brain trust that includes Kristin Juszczyk, the Off Season co-founder and fellow 49ers wife. Kittle regularly swaps outfit inspo in the group chat with Juszczyk and Olivia Culpo (who’s married to Christian McCaffrey), and the collaborative energy clearly shows.
Kristin Juszczyk approves of jorts
And speaking of jorts… Juszczyk debuted her own custom look at the very same game. The designer cropped a gray crewneck into an off-the-shoulder top and used the excess fabric to line the waistband of her reworked, raw-hem knee-length denim shorts. Red pumps, oversized gold jewelry and her signature confidence completed the DIY look.
In an interview with SI Swimsuit at the Verizon Small Business Training Camp just days later, the Off Season cofounder and design icon doubled down on her love for the closet staple:
“I mean, I’ve loved jorts for so long… I’ve always just felt comfortable with a longer short. I think they’re so fun because they’re so versatile,” Juszczyk, who is married to 49ers fullback Kyle Juszczyk, shares. “You can dress them up with a pair of heels and instantly look chic, or wear them with sneakers and a high sock and look like a Brooklyn chic girl.”
