Dua Lipa Makes Major Case for Why Mixing Patterns Should Be 2026’s Top Trend

There’s no denying that Dua Lipa’s 2025 has been massive. The 30-year-old award-winning singer-songwriter traveled the globe for her Radical Optimism Tour, which culminated with a trio of shows in Mexico City. And it appears that Lipa is bringing the same it-girl energy into 2026, especially with her wardrobe.
Lipa’s latest look
On Thursday, Dec. 11, the artist debuted a five-slide carousel to her 88.8 million Instagram followers, simply penning “factory reset💇🏽♀️” as its caption. Every frame showcased an eye-catching ‘fit, which featured a handful of patterns plus a trio of statement accessories.
Lipa’s ensemble consisted of a sheer, mocha-colored bodysuit exhibiting a bold, vertical cutout along its bodice and metallic cheetah-print spots. The artist tucked the number—which was embellished with marigold fringe on its shoulder—into a two-toned figure-hugging pencil skirt. The cocoa-brown and pastel-blue bottoms showcased a slew of speckles by the singer’s hips before meshing into a tiger-striped pattern near its center.
And while the pair of garments turned heads all on their own, the artist also added a few bold accessories to complete her latest look. For jewelry, Lipa donned a pair of oversized, chunky gold earrings and a turquoise watch with hardware of the same metallic hue. In her arms, she held onto a fur-adorned leather bag, in a similar chocolate-brown shade as her skirt.
Post-tour life for Lipa
Following her final three performances on the international endeavor—which took place in Mexico’s capital city on Dec. 1, 2 and 5—Lipa reflected on her epic stint on the road on Instagram with a 20-slide post.
The artist began by writing, “What a life. What a joy. Thank you Radical Optimism for the most fulfilling year and a half. 92 shows since last May ~ around the world with the very very best!!!! Thank you Mexico City for your love and energy and for having us for 3 nights. Grateful beyond belief.” Lipa then finished the sentiment by admitting that she was “still digesting” the tour’s end, “but for now thank you and I love you so much!!!!! RADICAL OPTIMISM FOREVER!!!”
However, Lipa has kept plenty busy this December. Earlier this week, she posted a “deep dive” into her skincare brand DUA™ by Augustinus Bader Science to the app, and followed up one day later with a handful of snaps from Manhattan, where she chatted with producer Mark Ronson for her Service95 Book Club.
