Dua Lipa Proves Distressed Denim Shorts Belong in Your Wardrobe Year-Round

A solid white tee and a pair of denim shorts is a beloved, classic combo that will also remain timelessly trendy. Today, Jan. 6, Dua Lipa showcased the fashionable pairing and, although it may be wintertime, we’re already saving her plethora of Instagram frames in the ‘fit as a personal look book for when it's time to break out the summertime staples once again.
In a joint post with Porsche, shared to her near 89 million followers, Lipa styled a neutral baby tee with a pair of distressed denim bottoms that cut off at her mid thigh. However, she added a duo of standout garments to elevate the tried-and-true pieces, including a pair of knee-high leather boots and an olive green barn jacket with corduroy trim. The artist completed the outfit with some silver oversized hoops and an onyx belt in the same shade as her footwear.
“always on the road 🚥” the three-time Grammy Award winner captioned the eight slide carousel, and tagged the automobile manufacturer at the end of her note. In each snap, she showcased a matte black vehicle with crimson interior as she posed both inside and outside of the car.
Plus, it seems like the longtime Porsche enthusiast often includes denim when repping the brand. In a post from late July of 2025, the “Houdini” singer styled an oversized set that showcased the fabric while taking one of their vehicles for a spin. Her long, espresso-brown hair flowed in the wind to exhibit her long sleeve button-up top and wide leg pants, which were in a dark-washed hue. Like her latest look, Lipa also added a pair of boots and silver jewelry to accent the look—she even stuck to a similar top and sported a plain white T-shirt.
Lipa also did not stray from her signature outfit formula—denim bottoms and a baby tee—when she headed to Monaco to debut her custom race car with the brand in May. The Dua Lipa Rennstall GT3 RS may be decked out in teal, crimson and vibrant orange hues, however its collaborator opted to wear marigold to break up her otherwise all-black outfit. She styled a faded pair of jeans with the cheetah print top and wore a cropped leather jacket.
“I love that Porsche lets me lean into my playful side on these collabs,” Lipa told The Times of the project in October. She also shared that the vehicle “reflects [her] love for speed” and later added, “I think adrenaline, and my love of it, runs through many of my creative endeavors. The Rennstall project packed a lot of it in.”
