Dua Lipa Styles Vintage Designer Jacket, Parties With Fiancé Callum Turner to Welcome New Year

The pop sensation is ready to keep the party going in 2026.

Dua Lipa is already looking fire in 2026, pun very much intended.

The pop sensation had a banger year in 2025, wrapping up her incredibly popular Radical Optimism Tour in Mexico City on Dec. 5 before enjoying some travel and time off over the holidays. And if her latest Instagram photo drop is any indication, Lipa is bringing those radically optimistic vibes into the new year, as well, with a vintage, designer twist.

In the 14-carousel photo set shared on Instagram Thursday, Jan. 1, the singer-songwriter gave her 88.8 million followers a peek at how she spent New Year’s Eve. In the cover snapshot, Lipa posed with a dramatic expression on her face and a tasty-looking drink in hand, wearing a vintage 1990s Thierry Mugler leather jacket complete with flame details.

The unique piece incorporated fiery oranges, vibrant reds and deep purples on the soft leather, resulting in an abstract pattern that was as hot as the flames it emulated. In several other photos in the set, it was revealed that the artist opted not to wear a top underneath, creating a daring V-neck, plunge-style neckline. She paired the vintage jacket—a piece which W Magazine noted “an iteration recently sold for $7,500 on the secondhand website, 1stDibs”—with a black mini skirt, complete with silver hardware for added texture and shine.

Keeping her dark brunette tresses sleek and straight and her makeup minimal, Lipa’s manicure was also a standout moment in the look. The beautiful, bejeweled manicure provided plenty of extra glitter to the overall ensemble, perfect for ringing in 2026 in extravagant style.

Putting Lipa’s impeccable fashion choices aside, another fun photo shared in the Instagram drop was found on the fourth slide, which showed the superstar cuddled up with fiancé Callum Turner. In the sweet snapshot, Turner had his arm around Lipa as the two appeared to sing and dance, cheering on the impending new year.

The couple confirmed their engagement back in June 2025, with the artist noting that their wedding planning was on hold until she finished her tour, telling British Vogue, “I want to finish my tour, Callum’s shooting, so we’re just enjoying this period. I’ve never been someone who’s really thought about a wedding, or dreamt about what kind of bride I would be. All of a sudden I’m like: ‘Oh, what would I wear?’”

In reference to her last question, might we suggest another vintage designer number? (Please?!)
