Hailee Steinfeld, Sabrina Carpenter and More Wild Celeb Halloween Costumes We Can’t Stop Thinking About

Halloween 2025 has officially come and gone. The treats have been tricked, the pumpkins have been carved and everyone’s ready to begin prepping their turkey from Thanksgiving. Still, despite the shifting holidays, we can’t stop thinking about just how incredible some of our favorite celebrities’ Halloween costumes were!
From beloved pop stars to cult classic movie characters and beyond, many stylish celebs went all out last night while emulating their pop culture idols. So, with this in mind, here are just a few of our personal favorites, which we haven’t been able to get out of our heads.
Hailee Steinfeld as Mary from Sinners
After starring in the best film of the year (we said what we said), Steinfeld made fans on Instagram do a double-take when she recreated her character Mary’s final look from Sinners, complete with 1980s vampire flair. Naturally, her comment section was filled with praise, including one fan who declared, “YOU WON HALLOWEEN”—and we’d absolutely have to agree with them!
Alix Earle as Lady Gaga from her “Paparazzi” music video
Taking a break from dominating Dancing With the Stars to embody Mother Monster herself, Earle threw it back to the 2010s with her Lady Gaga look—even going so far as to recreate multiple scenes from the pop star’s “Paparazzi” music video. The content creator also posted more snapshots of the costume to her Instagram account, and honestly, the resemblance between Earle and the Fame Monster singer is pretty uncanny.
Barbie Ferreira as Nina from Black Swan
Taking the 2025 balletcore trend to the next level, Ferreira expertly channeled Natalie Portman’s energy from her Academy Award-winning turn in the drama Black Swan. Plus, the model and actress’s costume was made even better by the fact that her friend took on the titular role of the Black Swan, while Ferreira herself donned the more angelic White Swan role.
Kerry Washington as Django from Django Unchained
In a look that has had us giggling ever since it popped up on our Instagram feed, Washington nailed her turn as Jamie Foxx’s titular character from the Quentin Tarantino classic. Similar to Steinfeld’s, this costume was also delightfully meta, as the actress had starred in a role opposite Foxx in the film as his love interest, Broomhilda. And never forget—the “D” is silent.
Charli D’Amelio as Cher
D'Amelio opted to dress as “a rich man” for Halloween (IYKYK). Iconic quotes aside, the content creator recreated several of Cher’s timeless looks over the last week, but this daring, glittering wing ensemble was easily our personal favorite. It was so good, it almost had us believing in life after love.
XANDRA as Barb from Barb Wire
If you’re going to take on a cult classic character for this spooky holiday in the future, take notes from DJ and model XANDRA and her uncanny recreation of Pamela Anderson’s look in Barb Wire. This all-leather moment was serving up all the “bad girl” vibes required, and her hair was the stuff dreams are made of (seriously, who did this blow-out? We need names, numbers and salon openings ASAP). Still, the cherry on top had to be her makeup, with a special shoutout to those exceptional Anderson eyebrows.
Midge Purce as Harley Quinn from Suicide Squad
The 2016 version of Suicide Squad may have been divisive among longtime DC Comics fans, but one thing that’s never divisive (at least to us) is a perfectly crafted Harley Quinn costume—and Purce absolutely hit it out of the park with hers. That said, our favorite part had to be the addition of some cozy-looking sneakers, which Quinn 100% should’ve been wearing in the movies instead of those heels because, let’s be honest, you can wreck way more havoc in Gotham when wearing sneakers.
Lili Reinhart as The Dude from The Big Lebowski
And speaking of cozy-looking costumes, Reinhart took a break from filming the highly anticipated adaptation of the best-selling romantic comedy The Love Hypothesis to enjoy some Halloween shenanigans as L.A.’s own, The Dude. Complete with a cardigan, an unkept beard and a White Russian in her hand, her recreation of the cult classic character was spot on—and if you disagree with us...well, you know, that’s just like, your opinion, man.
Paris Hilton as Britney Spears from her “Oops, I Did It Again” music video
Similar to D’Amelio, Hilton has been channeling pop sensations all week long, but our favorite had to be her Y2K-inspired look from Spears’s beloved “Oops, I Did It Again” music video. The cherry-red latex jumpsuit was a near-identical match for the superstar’s ensemble, same with her slicked blonde hair and black platform boots. The only thing missing from this look is the Heart of the Ocean (“But I thought the old lady dropped it into the ocean in the end?”).
Rylee Arnold as Rapunzel from Tangled
Okay, someone get Disney on the phone stat, because we've found the perfect person to play Rapunzel in the upcoming live-action adaptation of Tangled! The Dancing With the Stars pro was a terrific twin for the upbeat animated heroine, complete with her very own Pascal on her shoulder, a pan in her hand and her boyfriend, Walker Lyons, on deck as the smoldering Flynn Ryder (oh, excuse us, we meant to say Eugene).
Megan Thee Stallion as Choso from Jujutsu Kaisen
When “Hottieween” comes around, you can count on Megan Thee Stallion to go all out and embrace her love of anime with her always elaborate costumes. This year, she sported several looks inspired by the genre, but her Choso outfit was too incredible not to make our list. Listen, we don’t love the sound of “blood manipulation,” but if this Grammy Award-winning rapper is the one doing it, we’ll at least hear her out.
Paige Spiranac as Jessica Rabbit from Who Framed Roger Rabbit?

Some costumes will always be timeless, and Jessica Rabbit is absolutely one of them. Spiranac sparkled with her take on the animated showgirl, complete with a red wig in a shade so gorgeous, we think this former golf pro should seriously consider trying it out for the other 364 days of the year. Also, just so we’re all clear: she’s not bad, she’s just drawn that way.
Sabrina Carpenter as Wonder Woman
Last but never least is, of course, Carpenter, who channeled Lynda Carter’s beloved superhero for her Halloween-themed concert. Revealing the look the same way she does her bodysuits each night, the crowd erupted upon seeing the glittering red, white, blue and gold attire. But this wasn’t the Grammy Award winner’s only costume for the holiday, with her official fan page Team Sabrina also sharing sneak peeks at her take on Barbie from Greta Gerwig’s Barbie and Sandy from Grease—after her "bad girl” makeover, of course.
