The 32-year-old actress, artist and Baby, This is Keke Palmer podcast host was revealed as the publication’s newest cover star yesterday, March 4, with a commanding close-up image shared to social media.
In the frame, Palmer—who commanded big screens in 2025 with One of Them Days, Good Fortune and The Pickup—dazzled in a cobalt, velvet, wide-brimmed hat and silver statement necklace adorned with blue gems. Her outfit was omitted from view in the cover shot, captured by photographer OK McCausland; however, she showcased several other elevated looks on set with the outlet, such as a hooded one-shoulder suede dress and a metallic off-the-shoulder top paired with a striped, figure-hugging midi skirt, among others.

Variety posted four additional ‘fits of the actress alongside the cover image on Instagram and shared the details behind her front-page look in its caption. In the post, the publication credited Sarah Sokol Millinery as the designer behind the textured hat, and Chopard Official as the label of the sparkling necklace. In its comment section, we spotted a number of notable names who raved over Palmer’s front-page feat.

Plus, Palmer has triumphantly transitioned her on-screen reign into 2026, with a leading role on the Peacock series, The 'Burbs, and an upcoming spring appearance in I Love Boosters, which makes its in-theater debut on May 22. In the cover story coupled with her photo shoot, Palmer talked about the upcoming film and her TV stint, which dropped on the streaming platform on Feb. 8.
“The characters I’ve played are on these existential journeys of: What is value to me?” Palmer told Variety about the pair of 2026 feats, “How does value show up in this world that already tells me that I’m not of value—being a woman, being Black? What’s important to me is that at the end of my projects, there’s never a perfect ending. Because that’s what I’ve had to learn. When I turned 30, I realized that there is no destination.”
