Kylie Jenner Channels Chic Disney Villain Energy in Pink Feathered Look for Holiday Party

Red and green get all the attention around the holidays, only really ever sharing the spotlight with silver and gold—but Kylie Jenner’s latest look certainly makes the case for pink to be added to the seasonal rotation.

The reality TV star stepped out in Los Angeles on Dec. 17 to attend a holiday party for her beauty brand, Kylie Cosmetics, and her delightful designer ensemble was giving some playful Disney villain thanks to the fabulous feather details and unique pastel shade.

Styling & glam

For her holly jolly night on the town, Jenner rocked a gown from designer Conner Ives’s line. According to the designer, the stunning piece was crafted from silk crepe and chiffon fabric, which was expertly fitted to the star’s form to create a sultry final silhouette. The designer also made a humorous joke when posting the ensemble to Instagram, writing in the caption, “Wrong lever!” (A reference to the iconic Yzma: the Disney villain and style icon from The Emperor’s New Groove, who Jenner also referenced in her own caption.)

It’s nearly impossible to pick a single favorite part about the piece. Still, two standout details included its unique coloring—which combined a silky, soft pink base with a sheer, light gray overlay, blending the shades for a marvelously muted moment—and the fantastic feathers around the neckline and hips. The cut of the dress was in itself a statement, with the back designed for a daringly low dip.

It also appeared that Jenner’s take on the look was styled similarly to how the dress was presented on the catwalk, further adding to the luxurious, runway-ready vibe. She kept the accessories to a minimum, allowing the dress to shine, opting for only a pair of strappy nude heels. Her dark hair was slicked back into a tight bun, and her glam was left neutral and natural, with blended brown eyeshadows, a nude lip and pink cheeks making for the perfect final touches.
