Kylie Jenner Gives Fans a Closer Look at the Vintage Designer Dress She Wore to the BAFTAs

The beauty mogul sported the gorgeous gown while supporting boyfriend Timothée Chalamet at the ceremony.

Amid the Y2K fashion resurgence in 2026, Kylie Jenner is bringing the late ‘90s back into the conversation.

The reality TV star and beauty brand mogul joined her boyfriend, Timothée Chalamet, this weekend at the BAFTAs in her signature luxe style. Chalamet was nominated for Best Leading Actor at the ceremony for his work in Marty Supreme; however, the two left their bright orange looks at home to instead embrace a darker monochromatic moment. And now, Jenner’s sharing a closer look at her archival ensemble from the evening with fans on Instagram.

Jenner rocks ‘99 Mugler at the BAFTAs

In the new five-slide carousel captioned, “thierry mugler 99,” Jenner showed off the figure-hugging vintage gown from multiple angles.

The structured black fabric of the Mugler design was fitted through the waist and hips for a striking silhouette. The designer dress also featured glittering silver and gold jewels of varying sizes on the bustline, providing a fabulous bit of dimension to an otherwise all-black look. Jenner accessorized further with plenty of bling, matching the jewels on the gown to a pair of teardrop diamond earrings and a silver ring. Overall, the look was the definition of simple, sleek and chic.

And speaking of “sleek,” the Kylie Cosmetics founder continued that same sentiment with her hair and makeup. She styled her long, dark tresses pin-straight, parted slightly to the side for a little added volume. Meanwhile, her makeup was a classic Jenner glam comprising a neutral palette of warm shades, blended brown eyeshadows, peachy cheeks and a matte lip.

Jenner supports Chalamet during awards season

With awards season fully underway, the BAFTAs were the latest in a long line of fashion-forward moments we’ve seen over the last few months as Jenner continues to support Chalamet, celebrating his lauded work in Marty Supreme. The two—who have been romantically linked since April 2023—have also been spotted together at everything from movie premieres to the 2026 Golden Globes.

And Chalamet has returned this support to Jenner, recently thanking her during his Critics’ Choice Awards speech in January. While accepting the award for Best Actor, he told the audience, “Thank you to my partner of three years. Thank you for our foundation. I love you. I couldn’t do this without you. Thank you from the bottom of my heart.”
