Lauren Chan Channels Edgy, Eclectic Energy in Expertly Layered Look

The model continues to inspire fans to try something new thanks to her high-fashion ensembles.

Lauren Chan knows a thing or two about how to deliver show-stopping looks where her fashion expertise can be seen from a mile away. And one of her most recent Instagram posts further confirmed this fact, as she dressed to the nines in an outfit curated using a collection of luxe-looking layers and various patterns.

A marvelously mismatched moment

For the fashionista’s ensemble, she sported a leather varsity jacket that nailed the vintage aesthetic perfectly. Underneath the upper layer, she wore a dress with stripes displayed on the piece. The top also had a section where bright red satin fabric and striped material were lined up in a pattern. Without a doubt, her top was a statement piece, as it was the first eye-catching aspect of her ensemble.

Another eye-catching item in Chan’s attire included those marvelous cheetah-print tights, which she matched to a colorful pair of cheetah-print bottoms. She then completed the eclectic look with a pair of black slingback kitten heels. The pointed edge of the shoes was an effortless addition to her silhouette, adding a fun edge to an already stand-out style moment.

A cute updo was absolutely necessary for this look, and the silver and gold jewelry on her hands and ears were the perfect final touch. From head to toe, Chan took layered autumnal fashion to a whole other level, proving that you can rock any pattern and fabric together with the right pieces.

Celebrating in style

Naturally, the model wasn’t dressed in such fun pieces with nowhere to go. Last week, Chan attended OUT Magazine’s OUT100 Celebration in Los Angeles, Calif., sporting this very look on the red carpet. There, she stood among countless other remarkable individuals, all of whom came together to honor, advocate and represent the LGBTQIA+ community.

This year, Chan was recognized as a prominent figure in OUT100’s Groundbreakers category. This category celebrates those who made waves in their respective industry and, in doing so, opened up a path for others after them to walk forward and make an impact as well. And Chan’s groundbreaker label is definitely deserved, as the model’s many achievements speak to her commitment to being unapologetically herself, no matter the room she walks in.

Others belonging to the same category included renowned fashion designer Bob Mackie, actress Keke Palmer, rapper Bre-Z, internet personality Brooke Eden and many more beloved famous faces. Between the incredible fashion moments and all the trailblazers present, the OUT100 Celebration certainly looked like a night to remember!
