Mia Goth Goes for Daring Glam in Sheer Purple Gown for ‘Frankenstein’ Red Carpet

Mia Goth took over the London red carpet for the Headline Gala screening of Frankenstein with a look so stunning that it’s no surprise all cameras were locked on the English actress.
Goth was a glamorous vision on Oct. 13, wearing her thinly veiled dark purple gown. The upper half of the piece consisted of a solid asymmetrical fabric before transitioning into sheer fabric, where her toned physique could be seen peeking through.

After her midsection, the bottom of the garment featured the rest of the see-through fabric going all the way down the length of her legs before stopping at the heel of her shoe. She opted for a pair of black open-toed shoes for this look.
Her return to jet black hair has been nothing but stellar, as it makes outfits like this one pop all the more. The hairstyle of choice, being a neat high bun with two side bangs adorning the front of her face, is one that makes the ensemble come together to deliver a perfect dark, feminine aesthetic.
The same sentiment applies to a smoldering makeup look, which included a glitter smoky eye, fluffed eyelashes and her lips being overlined with a dusky shade. Also, the silver jewelry on her ears, wrist and fingers was a nice touch to incorporate some bling into her red carpet look.
Serving style isn’t the only business Goth is in. Of course, she’s also in the business of acting. Even so, her latest acting role in the 2025 title is one that almost had her running for the hills.
Filming the movie scared her
“I’ve never been so scared stepping into a movie. I really haven’t,” Goth shared when discussing Guillermo del Toro’s Frankenstein. “It was a lot for me, and I was always in my head. I kept thinking to myself, ‘Guillermo del Toro is making ‘Frankenstein,’ the movie you’ve always wanted him to make, and I get to be a part of that.’ And I was so scared that I was going to be the one bad thing in it, and I would ruin it.”
Fortunately, she got over her fears and her moments of self-doubt.
“I decided to feel that moment when you open your eyes, you have that calm and just a little bit more wisdom. That’s where [her character] Elizabeth was,“ Goth added.
Goth stars in Frankenstein alongside Oscar Isaac, Felix Kammerer, Lars Mikkelsen, Christoph Waltz, Charles Dance and Jacob Elordi. The film first premiered at the 82nd Venice International Film Festival in August 2025, but will receive its Netflix release on Friday, Nov. 7.
