This Popular Brand’s Lip Combo is Officially ‘Nicolandria’ Worn and Tested

Ever since Olandria Carthen stepped foot in the Love Island USA villa, fans—including two-time SI Swimsuit model Achieng Agutu—have praised the Alabama native for everything from her infectious energy to her stunning glam.

An inaugural villa member of the Season 7 cast, Carthen was an immediate fan-favorite, and her budding romance with partner Nic Vansteenberghe blossomed right in front of viewers’ eyes, before the connection was even evident to the couple.

Post-villa, Carthen is tapping into her roots and bringing her man with her. The couple’s newest collab with makeup brand NYX Cosmetics is giving “Nicolandria” fans the perfect lip combo to match the self-proclaimed “Bama Barbie.”

“NYX Professional Makeup is launching my lip combo, and—if you know me—you know I always layer my Butter Glosses,” the 27-year-old said in a teaser video for the launch. “And to test it, I found the perfect subject.” Carthen then grabbed Vansteenberghe for a handful of smooches. While Vansteenberghe is covered in her go-to gloss, she gushed, “You know I love me some NYX.”

The brand’s “Nicolandria Lip Combo” comes with three essential items: two Butter Lip Glosses in Lava Cake and Spiked Toffee, and a Slim Lip Pencil in the shade Espresso. Despite only being available online for 24 hours, the trio is already sold out—but rest assured, NYX is bringing it back for fans who missed its first drop, and has provided a waitlist for updates on the offer’s return.

As for the duo, prepare to see a lot more of them on your screens. The couple launched a steamy poolside ad with beverage brand AGUA DE KEFIR, which was released earlier this week. And next Monday, they will reunite with their former castmates as the Love Island USA Season 7 Reunion debuts on Peacock, hosted by Ariana Madix and Andy Cohen, at 9 p.m. ET.
