Paige Spiranac Shows Support for Dueling NFL Teams in Sporty, Stylish Snaps

The Pittsburgh Steelers headed to Detroit’s Ford Field to face the Lions for their latest matchup, and we know who Paige Spiranac was rooting for—actually, we take that back.
The former professional golfer turned sports content creator donned a black and yellow ensemble to her 1.1 million followers on X (formerly Twitter), where she repped a Steelers button-up top over a black sports bra and high-waisted biker shorts. Then, she replied to her own post for another frame, where she sported a cobalt, gray and white jersey with “Detroit Lions” printed on its center.

However, Spiranac’s strategy resulted in a win either way, following the Steelers’ 29-24 victory during the Week 16 away game. The outcome brought the franchise’s record to 9-6, and currently places them at the top of the AFC North division. With the loss, the Lions, 8-7, sit in third in the NFC North, at the time of publication, behind the Chicago Bears (11-4) and Green Bay Packers (9-5).
Still, Spiranac has home ties to the Steelers, she revealed in a 2021 Instagram post, where the athlete originally debuted the frame of her two-toned ensemble. She penned with the post, “Both my parents are from Pittsburgh, so I’ve been a Steelers fan since the day I was born.” However, Spiranac has a soft spot for an AFC East squad, as well: “I also love the Bills. It’s a complicated relationship...”
And perhaps we’ll see Spiranac delve into even more NFL-related content as 2026 quickly approaches. She has already attended two Super Bowls in 2023 and 2025, and showcased her skills at the NFL Combine in 2022. During her stint in New Orleans in February, where the Philadelphia Eagles ultimately defeated the Kansas City Chiefs 40-22, the athlete explained how her longtime partnership with SportsGrid has allowed her to delve into several venues beyond the green.
“The best thing about working with SportsGrid is that I can expand outside of golf,” she told Mail Sport, as reported by The Daily Mail, while on location for the annual sporting event. She also added, “Obviously, golf is my sweet spot and what I’m most passionate about, but I love all sports. So working with them has been fantastic because now I can do football and hockey and baseball, and really it’s just been a dream for me.”
