Pia Wurtzbach Embraces Makeup-Free Mentality on Vacation

The former Miss Universe is taking a page out of Pamela Anderson’s book.

Pamela Anderson has garnered a great deal of media attention in recent months for her decision to go makeup-free on a series of red carpets and at various public events. But she’s not the only one embracing a more natural look in public these days. The latest to jump on the positive trend is none other than former Miss Universe, Pia Wurtzbach.

She’s on vacation in the Maldives, so it’s no surprise really that putting on a face of makeup isn’t an integral part of her daily routine (what’s the point when you’re spending your days in the water?). But, that aside, it is admirable that the 34-year-old chose to advertise the choice on her Instagram, sharing a bare-faced selfie with her 14.6 million followers on the platform.

In the snap, the model lay on a towel under a palm tree in a black bikini and smiled softly at the camera. As noted, she sported a very natural appearance and wet hair in the photo.

“Make up-free days ❤️,” she captioned the single snap. Her fans offered their support for her choice to forego any glam.

“Naturally beautiful Mrs. Jauncey 😍🔥,” one gushed.

“No makeup needed,” another sweetly noted.

“So pretty 😍,” a fan complimented Wurtzbach.

We certainly agree that the model doesn’t need makeup to shine. But we would say the same for everyone. After all, Pamela Anderson was right when she told Elle that foregoing makeup is both “freeing and fun.”
