Rhea Ripley Sports Daring Two-Piece Leather Set Ahead of SummerSlam Match

SummerSlam weekend is officially upon us, and you better believe Rhea Ripley is ready to kick butt in style.
The annual August event remains one of WWE’s biggest premium live events, and it only got bigger this year when it was announced that the show would span two nights for the first time in its history. And with a bigger show comes a bigger stage and bigger matches—and Ripley made it crystal clear that she’s ready to take on the challenge in her signature punk rock style.
Ahead of Saturday’s Night 1 show, the 28-year-old WWE superstar sported a daring leather two-piece set featuring a shiny, studded top. On the bottom, she wore a matching high-waisted mini skirt, which had several strappy details fitted with metallic hardware for a fun contrast in texture and color.
She accessorized the all-black look with several stacked bracelets, as well as a pair of heeled booties. Her long black hair was styled straight and sleek, left down so that it sat on her shoulders. Her makeup was decidedly toned down compared to her typical in-ring persona, opting instead for glowy skin, strong eyebrows and natural lips.
But her jaw-dropping leather look wasn’t the only fun photo featured in the Instagram carousel. The second snapshot was a close-up of her latest tattoo—a skull wearing the Statue of Liberty’s crown—which she got to commemorate her weekend in New York. The third and final photo in the set showed the athlete at the gym getting battle-ready ahead of her match while wearing a bright red two-piece workout set.
“hi!!” WWE correspondent and friend Cathy Kelly simply wrote in the comment section.
“Daaaaaaaang,” Ash Costello added.
“I want to look like you!” Fellow pro wrestler—and her husband—Buddy Matthews joked.
“How are your outfits always so perfect?” One fan asked before adding, “It wouldn’t be a PLE without a new tattoo 🤭.”
During Sunday’s show, Ripley seeks to win back the Women’s World Championship, which she dropped to Iyo Sky back in March.
Ripley and Sky had a one-on-one rematch at Evolution earlier this month, where Naomi cashed in her Money in the Bank contract for a shocking win, taking the title for herself (in what was easily one of the best matches of this year so far, if you were to ask the human being writing the article you’re currently reading). At SummerSlam, all three women will compete in a triple-threat match, with chaos, shenanigans and some seriously great wrestling all but guaranteed.
Catch all the action when Night 2 of SummerSlam streams live on Peacock tonight starting at 6 p.m. ET!
