The pop star stepped out in New York City wearing the Kaela Knit Dress ($758) by Cult Gaia, just weeks after debuting the same style in white on her bachelorette trip. But this time it was the luxury label’s red “merlot” shade—a bold twist on the ultra-feminine silhouette. The hand-crocheted mini featured an off-the-shoulder neckline, long sleeves and delicate 3D floral appliqué throughout. It’s flirty, romantic and sculpted to perfection.
It’s rare we see an A-lister double up so quickly, but Gomez’s back-to-back moments in the mini prove one thing: she’s not just the face of beauty and fashion, she’s a girl who knows what she likes and wears it on repeat.
In NYC, the “Single Soon” singer styled the crimson version with a slicked-back bun, dazzling diamond drop earrings, glowing skin and a bold berry lip. Vibrant red strappy peep-toe heels completed the monochrome moment, adding just the right amount of edge. Photographed in Hudson Yards on Sept. 9, Gomez looked gorgeous, confident and every bit the It Girl.
Another mini dress moment
And her style streak didn’t end there. Just days earlier, the 33-year-old stunned again in an asymmetric La Mini Robe Trapeze ($485) from Jacquemus. The black mini featured a sleek cowl neck, a single short sleeve and a straight hem that hit high on the thigh. She paired it with Brea mule heels ($298) from Black Suede Studio—sleek black leather slip-ons with sharp stiletto heels and a chic, sculptural toe. A head-turner, as always.
Whether she’s in bold bridal whites or timeless black minis, Gomez’s style knows no bounds. And somehow, even in couture, she keeps it real.
Making career moves
While blessing fans with one phenomenal fashion moment after another, the Texas native is also in full promo mode—and also planning her wedding with Benny Blanco. She’s been juggling Rare Beauty press events, interviews for the upcoming season of Only Murders in the Building and just landed on the cover of Allure.
In the new feature, Gomez opened up about pouring her heart into every project—and how she always comes back to Rare. “I just need to make sure that while I'm here, I do the best I can,” the actress shared. Through Rare Beauty’s Rare Impact Fund, 1% of gross sales go toward mental health resources for young people, with the goal of raising $100 million.
“We’re like the little engine that could,” she said of the 170-person team, adding, “I want all of you to feel good.”
These days, that’s all Gomez wants for herself, too. “I want to keep evolving... and I want to experience everything.”
