Sydney Sweeney Channels Snow Angel Energy in Dreamy White Gown for ‘The Housemaid’ Premiere

Ahead of the film’s Dec. 19 release, The Housemaid premiered in New York City last night, and the red carpet was an A-lister filled affair. Stars Sydney Sweeney and Amanda Seyfried were in attendance, as were costars Brandon Skelnar and Michele Morrone, along with the project’s director, Paul Feig.
Sweeney looked absolutely angelic, bringing snow angel energy to the red carpet in a sparkly white floor length Miu Miu gown with a plunging neckline. The dress, which highlighted the actress’s slim physique, featured spaghetti straps and a sweet bow detail at the bodice. A matching white feather boa was casually slung over the 28-year-old’s arms.
The actress worked with her usual glam team for the occasion, including stylist Molly Dickson, makeup artist Melissa Hernandez and hairstylist Glen Coco Oropeza. And while Sweeney has been sporting a short blonde bob lately, her bombshell locks were curled and hit just past her shoulders.
Following Tuesday evening’s premiere at New York City’s 787 Seventh Ave, Sweeney took to Instagram to share a reel from the event, which she captioned simply: “✨NYC✨ @housemaidmovie premiere.”
“My favorite look ever!! 🤍,” one of Sweeney’s 25.5 million followers gushed in the comments section.
“YOU LOOK LIKE A PRINCESS ❤️,” another cheered.
“she’s here to break the internet once again,” an additional fan noted.
“Just WOW!!!!!!!” fellow actress Emmanuelle Chriqui stated.
“Millie in her glam era ✨💖 @sydney_sweeney,” another user stated, referencing Sweeney’s character in the film.
The Housemaid is an adaptation of the Freida McFadden book of the same name, which was first published in 2022. In the psychological thriller, Millie (Sweeney) becomes a live-in housemaid for a wealthy couple (Seyfried and Sklenar) and quickly finds herself being pulled into the family’s strange and sinister dynamic. And while their characters find themselves at odds throughout the film, Sweeney says she and Seyfried couldn’t be closer IRL.
“Amanda and I became sisters,” Sweeney stated on the red carpet while chatting with Variety. “She is like the bestest friend ever, we have so much fun together and I actually think that when you have a scene partner and actor that you can have fun with and you feel safe with and free, it actually makes those kinds of scenes even better because you feel safe and free to go crazy, explore new things, and you’re not gonna feel judged.”
The Housemaid hits theaters on Friday, Dec. 19.
