SZA showcased an elegant ensemble on the West Coast on Monday, Feb. 23, when the award-winning artist arrived at the world premiere of Disney’s new animated film Hoppers. The 36-year-old seven-time Grammy Award winner created an original song, “Save The Day,” for the Daniel Chong-directed project, which premieres in theaters nationwide on March 6.

One day after the event in Los Angeles, SZA took to Instagram to show off some fashionable frames on location and express her excitement for the film and her accompanying tune, which released on Friday, Feb. 20.

“🌻HOPPERS IS ONE OF THE BEST MOVIES IVE SEEN !! THE MESSAGE THE ENERGY THE HOPE !!” SZA wrote in the caption of her 13-slide carousel. She smiled in the first snapshot, wearing an off-the-shoulder butter yellow gown adorned with a pastel floral print and layered ruffles.

“Making children’s music is my joy ... the world is so heavy I just wanna lighten the load for the smallest and mightiest,” the caption continued. The artist completed her look with lots of dainty accessories, including a stack of multicolored necklaces and numerous bracelets. She also added another vibrant touch with her polka-dotted manicure, featuring shades of cobalt, lime green, bubblegum pink and marigold, on display in the post’s fourth image.

Fans and fellow celebrities alike showered the artist with compliments about everything from her new song to her gorgeous look in Los Angeles.

“oh so beautiful 😍,” Chloe Bailey exclaimed.

Storm Reid chimed in, “😍 sunshine!”

“Such a beautiful song. It radiates love 💛✨,” one commenter gushed about the artist’s latest tune.

Another fan raved over her elegant ensemble, penning, “YELLOW IS YOUR COLOR. YOU’RE GLOWING”

Earlier this month, Chong gave a glimpse of how the artist’s role in the film—which stars notable names like Dave Franco, Jon Hamm and Meryl Streep, among others—extended beyond the singular song she created for the upcoming animated endeavor.

“SZA’s music saved me during the making of this movie,” the We Bare Bears creator said in a statement per Euphoria. “It was a lifeline during the stress of the filmmaking process, a voice that comforted and inspired me through it all. It felt so perfect to have an original song by SZA, to have her give voice to the movie and its hopeful themes.”
