Zendaya’s ‘The Drama’ Press Tour Fashion: Our Top 5 Fave Looks

This past weekend, A24’s The Drama finally hit theaters. While this was, of course, exciting, it also meant Zendaya wrapped up her incredible fashion show—oh sorry, we meant “press tour”—with one final red carpet walk. And just like friends and family do while waving goodbye to a happy couple following their wedding reception, we fully shed a tear or two.
It may only be April, but 2026 has already produced several standout stars when it came to method dressing for the red carpet. So far, this has included Margot Robbie’s gorgeous Wuthering Heights lineup and Ana Taylor-Joy’s take on Princess Peach’s fashion. Still, Zendaya and longtime stylist Law Roach took things up a notch while promoting the dark comedy, adding an extra layer by not only embracing bridal styles but also embodying wedding traditions with each look.
So, before we officially bid these gorgeous gowns a very fond farewell, we’re highlighting our five favorites!
Her lace Zimmerman look

Our first pick was worn toward the end of the press tour, when Zendaya and Roach were utilizing darker shades and more intricate styles. The actress rocked this luxe lace look by Zimmerman while appearing with co-star Robert Pattinson on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon, with the semi-sheer fabric and unique garter-like detailing adding extra edge, separating this look from her other, more traditional bridal styles.
Her gorgeous Giorgio Armani Privé number

This Giorgio Armani Privé gown absolutely screamed “fashion-forward reception look,” from the sleek, figure-hugging silhouette to the shiny beading along the daring, plunging neckline. The piece was worn as Zendaya’s “something borrowed,” with Roach noting on Instagram that this exact ensemble—Louis Vuitton jewels and all—had originally been styled for Cate Blanchett.
Her daring Nicolas Ghesquière and Louis Vuitton gown

Zendaya’s “something new” came from Nicolas Ghesquière and Louis Vuitton, and easily had perhaps our favorite detail on the red carpet recently: that gigantic, gorgeous black bow. From the front, the long-sleeved ivory number served up traditional winter bride vibes, but—thanks to the open back and aforementioned bow—the final look was anything but “traditional.” Her makeup was also on another level, with her glam creating doll-like eyes that we’re 100% going to try to replicate at some point this spring.
Her show-topping Schiaparelli stunner

I’m not going to lie to you, I gasped out loud when I saw this look on Instagram—yes, me, the real, living human being who wrote this article, gasped out loud. Crafted by the incredible team at Schiaparelli, the designer noted on Instagram that Zendaya’s “something blue” red carpet moment featured “27 shades of blue” and took “over 8,000 hours of craftsmanship.” Now, tell me you didn’t also just gasp?!
And of course, her iconic Vivienne Westwood throwback

While we didn’t intend to write this list as a ranking, there’s no denying this look was our absolute favorite of the bunch—not only because of the timeless Vivienne Westwood gown, but because of the history behind the piece. Zendaya wore this look early in the press tour as her “something old,” with fans recalling her rocking the same style at the Academy Awards in 2015. Just over a decade later, the star looked just as sensational as she did the first time around.
You can catch The Drama in theaters now, and Zendaya will also be appearing on our screens again later this month when the first episode of Euphoria’s third and final season hits HBO on April 12. Until then (and for a long, long, long time after that), we’ll be dreaming about this perfect press tour.
