Ahead of ‘Dancing With the Stars’ Finale, Alix Earle Reminisces on Personal Growth

The model and content creator is vying for the Mirrorball Trophy in tonight’s episode.

The Season 34 finale of Dancing With the Stars is tonight, and contestant Alix Earle is reflecting on her journey in the competition thus far. The 24-year-old model and content creator and her pro dance partner, Valentin Chmerkovskiy, are one of five remaining couples vying for the Mirrorball Trophy.

On Monday evening, Earle took to Instagram to reminisce on her growth throughout the three-month competition, while also sharing a sweet message to Chmerkovskiy, 39.

“Thank you @valentin for memories I’ll never forget ❤️ you have helped me grow, push myself, and given me the confidence to believe in me. I’ll forever be grateful for these past three months 🥹,” the Hot Mess With Alix Earle podcast host wrote.

The accompanying reel featured clips of the duo rehersing, creating content and being goofy together. “The best three months of my life ❤️,” Earle wrote atop the video. The comments section was quickly flooded with positive sentiments from Earle’s 4.9 million followers and fans of the show.

“nooo I need to watch you every Tuesday!!!!!” model and certified fitness trainer Katie Austin stated of the show nearing the end of its run for the season.

“it’s been so fun watching you shine angel i’ll miss seeing you two on my screen every week,” The Bachelor contestant Rachael Kirkconnell declared.

“I’ve seen you every week during this and I could not be more proud of you,” tan artist Isabel Alysa gushed. “Love you!”

“Go WIN THIS THING !!!!!!! ♥️♥️,” content creator Alex Hazen cheered.

Chmerkovskiy also piped into the comments section to share his appreciation of Earle. “gonna celebrate these memories for a really long time,” he wrote. “[You’re] the best Al, no close seconds.” In a separate comment, he added “Let’s go win this thing! ❤️.”

While Earle has experienced personal growth during her time on the show, she’s not the only one to take note of her boosted confidence. SI Lifestyle recently chatted with Jenna Johnson, fellow Dancing With the Stars pro and Chmerkovskiy’s wife, who highlighted Earle’s newfound conviction during Week 8’s Paso Doble in particular.

“ I just feel like she gained this newfound confidence in herself and I had never seen her take the ballroom floor like she did that night,” Johnson said. “And I think it was a real big like ‘aha moment’ for her as well. I just love the person, the dancer she’s transforming into. It’s been so beautiful to see.”
