Fans, Fellow Athletes React to Angel Reese’s Digital ‘Vogue Australia’ Cover

The Chicago Sky forward landed on the front of the publication’s April 2026 digital issue.

Once again, Angel Reese has landed on the front of Vogue, as the WNBA athlete earned the digital cover of Vogue Australia’s April 2026 issue.

The 23-year-old Chicago Sky forward was photographed by Jesse Lizotte for the occasion. The striking cover image featured Reese in a white feathered MARIAM SEDDIQ bodysuit, Van Cleef & Arpels jewelry and her own signature Reebok sneakers on her feet.

When Reese shared the cover snapshot, along with a few other selects from her time on set, to her Instagram on Thursday, March 26, her fans went wild.

“VOGUE AUSTRALIA: Signature AR1s Take Cover! @vogueaustralia,” she wrote to her 5.2 million followers. “Never been done—Vogue Australia in my own signature @reebok. I came to stand behind Australian women’s basketball and continue growing this game globally. This is what it looks like when purpose meets the moment.”

Plenty of Reese’s fans and fellow athletes chimed into the comments section with congratulatory messages over her latest feature.

In the accompanying feature story, Reese opened up about how her signature shoe came to be—which involved Shaquille O’Neal approaching her to sign with Reebok.

“So I had a conversation with Reebok when I signed about having a signature shoe, and I wanted to have creative control,” Reese told the publication of her Angel Reese 1 shoe, which launched last September. “I am obviously into basketball, but I’m also into fashion, so I wanted something versatile that you can wear on and off the court.”

Today, Reese’s namesake shoe is available in a variety of colorways, including the navy and white combination she rocked on her Vogue Australia cover shoot. You can shop them below.
