Gisele Bündchen can be easily spotted in a crowd, thanks to the supermodel’s glossy blonde locks and striking beauty. However, you may have to do a double take before recognizing the top model on the cover of Vogue Italia’s March 2023 issue.

For the photo shoot, the 42-year-old wore a crimson-colored Patricia Von Musulin gown with sheer sleeve detailing attached to the bodice of the dress. The gorgeous cover image, captured by photographer Rafael Pavarotti, was styled by Ib Kamara, and the model’s usual girl next door natural glam was truly transformed into a work of art.

Hairstylist Ali Pirzadeh masked Bündchen’s trademark locks with a slicked-back fire engine red wig, while makeup artist Ana Takahashi provided vibrant ruby eyebrows and lips to match, along with a heavy smokey eye. The model also displayed cherry-hued fingernails and was adorned with extravagant Valentino earrings and bracelets by Kenneth Jay Lane.

The publication revealed the striking cover image on Instagram on Feb. 22, and fans were quick to provide commentary.

“insane,” SI Swimsuit model Ashley Graham stated simply in the comments.

“It was fun!” Bündchen wrote of the experience.

“She’s so versatile!!! A chameleon,” one person said.

“Amazing cover! We can appreciate how talented @gisele is,” added another. “She can transform into someone else and give the power needed in every single shot! Pure art!”

Additional pics from the photo shoot showed Bündchen in the same makeup and hairstyle rocking a black leather jacket, while the model also posed in a black strapless dress and a sheer mermaid-style gown that provided a peek at her pink bra and panty set underneath.
