Hilary Duff Pens Love Letter to Fans Following New Album Release

The day millennials have been eagerly awaiting has finally arrived: Hilary Duff’s sixth studio album, luck ... or something, has dropped. The project, which consists of 11 songs, including singles “Mature” and “Roommates,” marks the 38-year-old artist’s first new album in more than a decade.
“This album feels like a great representation of the past 10, almost 20 years. It’s a journey in being okay with yourself, your story, and the winding road that got you there,” Duff penned in an Instagram caption on Feb. 20. “ ... This week has been something hard to put into words. The buzz and excitement around the world tour, watching the tickets just disappear, adding shows, and seeing you all make this album yours is so special. I’m processing all of your love right now.”
Duff’s carousel of images included several behind the scenes snapshots in the studio, including several pics with her husband, musician Matthew Koma, who produced luck ... or something alongside Brian Phillips. In addition to shouting out her fans in the caption of her post, the mom of four also issued a huge “thank you” to her husband of six years.
“Literally floating right now thinking about this finally making its way to you,” Duff stated. “This whole album and all of the tracks would never have come to life without Matt, his and I’s shared vision, and his truly poetic gift of song writing. So lucky you’re my roommate @matthewkoma ;)”
As of press time, Duff’s post has racked up more than 140,000 likes and thousands of comments from her excited 28 million followers.
“I’m loving every song! You almost made me cry with The Optimist 😍,” one person admitted.
“This is what dreams are made of, I'm running to listen to it right now. 🔥❤️ te quiero,” someone else added.
“No, Im not okay, this album is everything, it's a piece of you and a gift to us, incredible body of work, soo happy but also so damn proud of you, we are so back!” another fan gushed. “Hope you enjoy every moment of this, YOU did that and you deserve all the praise coming your way! ❤️.”
“Thank you for raising an entire generation 🥹💞,” an additional follower wrote.
“I cant believe we did it !!! So proud of this album and every song on it,” Phillips, who has also worked with artists like Bebe Rexha and Alec Benjamin, cheered. “You are the realest. Cant wait to see you crush arenas.”
This summer, Duff will embark on “The Lucky Me Tour,” starting in West Palm Beach, Fla., on June 22, featuring special guests La Roux, Lauren Spencer Smith and Jade LeMac. The tour, which will see Duff visit North America through mid August, will make stops in Canada and Europe before wrapping in Mexico in February 2027.
