MLB Player Paul Skenes Shares Cozy Photo With Girlfriend Olivia Dunne at LSU Football Game

Paul Skenes and Olivia Dunne are Instagram official. The LSU power couple, who have been sneakily name-dropping each other in interviews and hinting at their relationship on social media, finally confirmed the news with a hard launch.t

The MLB No. 1 draft pick, who plays for the Pittsburgh Pirates, attended a football game at his alma mater, where his girlfriend will soon begin her final NCAA season as a gymnast.

The 21-year-old California native wore a purple collared LSU shirt, while Dunne, who is the highest-paid female college athlete in the country, donned a figure-hugging white-and-yellow floral dress with white cowboy boots and sunglasses. The two cozied up in the snap with the 20-year-old’s hand on her boyfriend’s chest.

“My 💛!” Dunne, a New Jersey native, commented.

The couple first sparked romance rumors when Dunne was spotted wearing the baseball player’s jersey at the College World Series in June. She has since made a few TikTok videos alluding to the relationship and has been seen at multiple Pirates games.

In an interview with the Pittsburgh-Post Gazette, Skenes revealed that the two met because their roommates at the time were dating.

“It’s nice to be able to have that conversation. She does get it,” he said about the feelings of public pressure and lack of privacy that they are both used to. “I do wish she could come to a baseball game and just enjoy it. It does irk me. I don’t have any control over it. She really doesn’t either. I’m sure it’ll get better as I go up levels, but that’s something I want for her.”
