Four-time Grand Slam singles champion Naomi Osaka has been an ambassador for tons of brands that align with her values.

Her latest venture—a sustainable sleepwear and lingerie line created in partnership with Victoria’s Secret—is a bit of a pivot, but it still hits close to home. As Osaka noted in a recent interview with Vogueextremely comfortable clothing doubles as maternity wear. The collaboration comes at an opportune time as Osaka is currently expecting her first child with her boyfriend, Cordae.

“When you’re sleeping, you’re at your most vulnerable,” Osaka said about the collection that launched today. “So I want to feel as comfortable as possible. I’ve actually been wearing them all the time now.”

The children’s book author mentioned that going to Victoria’s Secret as a teenager is a strong memory she shares with her mom and sister. She loved the brand’s body mists and had an appreciation for the “pretty” shelf displays.

“Actually talking to everyone at Victoria’s Secret and seeing how inclusive it was,” the former world No. 1 added about her reasoning for going through with the collaboration. “I remember having discussions with them about how I never saw someone who looked like me before in their stores. I thought it would be really amazing to shift the view.”

Sleep pieces in the new line are made with a unique blend of ethically sourced TENCEL™ Lyocell and certain lingerie pieces are partially made from recycled materials.

The collection includes a Sleep Romper ($59.95), Boyfriend Shirt Dress ($54.95) with matching Lounge Shorts ($34.95) and a robe ($59.95) in a variety of colors.

The 25-year-old announced her pregnancy to the world with an ultrasound photo on Instagram on Jan. 11.

“Can’t wait to get back on the court but here’s a little life update for 2023,” she captioned a post shared with her 2.7 million followers.

“I’m not really sure I can prepare,” she said when asked about how she's getting ready to welcome a baby. “I know there are things I can buy and classes I can take. This is going to be my first, and I’m really excited. Everyone I know that has had a kid, it has changed their life. I don’t think I can prepare for it. I think I’m gonna have to go with the flow.”
