Celebrating Nelly Korda’s Latest History-Making Moment With These SI Swimsuit Photos

Rolex’s no. 1 female golfer in the world, Nelly Korda, is a force to be reckoned with. The 26-year-old Florida native has set multiple records, creating a lasting legacy with her trailblazing career thus far. As the 2024 LPGA Tour Player of the Year, all eyes have been on the impressive athlete to see what she’ll do this year.
And this week, Korda makes history once again. As reported by the LPGA website, the determined athlete has become the first American to top the Rolex women’s world golf rankings for 100 weeks. She is now the sixth player in the world to surpass 100 weeks, following Jin Young Ko (163), Lorena Ochoa (158), Lydia Ko (125), Yani Tseng (109) and Inbee Park (106).
In addition to this feat, she also came in as the runner-up at the Tournament of Champions and tied for second place at the U.S. Women’s Open. Clearly, she’s making 2025 another great year—and she’s adding "SI Swimsuit model" to her stacked résumé. Proving her skill beyond the golf course, Korda stepped out of her comfort zone for her debut in the 2025 magazine, which was released in May. These are some of our favorite shots.
Korda didn’t have to travel far for her first photo shoot with SI Swimsuit, posing at The Boca Raton in Florida for photographer Ben Horton. The 15-time LPGA Tour winner wore a variety of different swimwear styles, patterns and colors for a truly fabulous debut, flaunting her toned figure and piercing blue eyes.
While on set with SI Swimsuit, Korda discussed her passion for her sport and thriving in her active, outdoors lifestyle.
“I started playing golf professionally at the age of seventeen in 2016,” she shared. “Golf has impacted my life in an incredible way outside of the sport. I get to inspire the next generation. I see girls that look up to me, and I get to travel the world for a living and do what I love. You know, when you’re passionate about something, it’s never work.”
Posing for SI Swimsuit was definitely a different experience for Korda, but she was eager to try something new and was happy with the results at the end.
“I stepped out of my comfort zone,” she added. “I think that’s what the shoot’s about. I think that’s what life is about, also, is sometimes stepping outside your comfort zone and challenging yourself. I had such a great crew to work with and work alongside. It was just so much fun. When people look at these photos, I hope it inspires them to rock what they got.”
Always on the green, Korda is competing at the ShopRite LPGA Classic this weekend in Galloway, N.J.
