Tracee Ellis Ross revealed some of her hot takes in a recent interview with People. The Black-ish star is not keen on everyone’s favorite high-waisted trend. “No ma’am,” is all she has to say to the people who pull their bikini strings “really high up.”

“I have worn the same shape bikini since I was a teenager,” the 50-year-old explained. “I like a string bikini that hangs down like I’m in the ’70s. It’s just what works on my body. And I love a triangle top. It’s the most flattering for my breasts.”

She also cheekily admitted that when she is trying to catch a tan, she does it topless because she hates tan lines.

Ross is no stranger to sharing bikini pics and videos on Instagram and showing off her full bare-faced, unfiltered self.

“I wake up at 50, hot as ever, and it’s as if someone beat me up while I was sleeping; I’m like, ‘oh, oh,’ that’s how I wake up, ‘ouch, ow, ugh,’ and then I have to stretch, who knew that was gonna be real?” the Pattern Beauty founder said about aging in a bikini video shared with her 11.2 million Instagram followers last month.

Last December, Ross shared an iconic carousel of herself on vacation in Jamaica. She filmed herself in a stringy floral bikini—her ideal swimsuit style—as she lifted herself out of a lake. The video was a hilarious and realistic account of how any ordinary person looks when they are soaking wet. She also included a jaw-dropping photo of her toned and natural body as the cover photo.
