If you’re in need of an extra push to hit the weight room today, Ilona Maher's got you covered. The 29-year-old Olympic rugby player—who notched a bronze medal during the 2024 Paris games—took to Instagram to showcase her strength in a joint reel with Adidas.

The post consisted of a 35-second clip of Maher in the midst of various excises, ranging from sled pushes and squats to bench presses. It is her latest campaign with the apparel brand, whom she partnered with in March 2025.

“Observe me, Ilona Maher, in my natural habitat. Where the possibility of what I can do is turned into reality,” the athlete stated in a voiceover while moving through her rigorous workout on screen. She later added, “You see me on the field, and standing on podiums, and think you know me. But this is where my true self comes out—at home, when I’m putting in the work ...”

In just a few hours online at press time, the post has already garnered lots of attention from fans, who credited the campaign as motivation to hit the gym themselves.

“going to the gym RN,” a commenter exclaimed.

“Ilona wore adidas to strength training so I will wear adidas to strength training,” another fan chimed in.

Although her attire wasn’t specified in the social media post, you can twin with Maher while getting your own workout in. The athlete’s sleek gray set is from Adidas. She seemed to wear the label’s Optime Workout 3-Stripes 7/8 Leggings ($65) paired with its Optime Workout Medium Support Bra ($40) in the same “Charcoal” shade while putting her strength to the test.

Maher continuing to grow the game of rugby alongside the brand. Last June, Adidas revealed its “first-ever women’s specific rugby boot”—the RS15 Avaglide—which earned a major stamp of approval from the athlete.

In a press release aligned with the launch, she stated, “One of the key factors in my decision to partner with Adidas was their commitment to the continued growth and development of women’s rugby. When I saw the plans for the RS15 Avaglide, I couldn’t wait to try them out. The game has needed this and I’m excited to see the impact this will make for women and girls’ players across the globe.”
